Innovative quick bites - Edit
Came for a meal deal whilst Christmas shopping. The food was freshly prepared and very clever! My KFC burger was very different from other vegan burgers.

Can’t go wrong with vegan burgers and chips! Everything was delicious! I recommend the ‘beef’ burger over the KFC burger because that one is just a slice of cauliflower which can be a bit bland. We arrived late on a Sunday and they had actually ran out of tater tots so we were only served chips which is fine but a bit disappointing

The food was so delicious! Ran out of quite a bit when we got there and after we ordered they told us one of our dishes couldn’t be done which was a shame. The food itself is brilliant. Hope to try more!

First visit to the Arndale branch, though have eaten their food several times at Digbeth Dining Club. Had the KFC burger and was blown away by how good it tasted. My omni friend had it too and loved it. Another of our group had the jumbo hot dog (which I had a bite of) I thought this was one of the best hotdogs I've ever tried, including when I ate meat. The staff are so friendly too. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We had the beefless burger (with the onion rings and cheese) and katsu tater tots. The burger was incredible, one of the best I've had, and very reasonably priced for the quality. The katsu tater tots were heavenly and I'd happily eat these every day for the rest of my life!!!

Located in a really nice section of the Arndale market with really friendly staff. The burger bun was really nice and had the beefless burger - the patty was delicious and enjoyed it with the caramelised onion, garlic mayo and an added onion ring. Found the cheese quite overpowering and although I added it to my burger for extra, could have left it out. Sister had the kfc burger and agreed it didn’t need the cheese! But overall very tasty...

I love the food here. The burgers are amazing, as are the tatters tots. They have a great selection of ice cream. The prices are reasonable given it's the city centre and the portions are generous- two burgers and one side serves is plenty food for two people. The staff are exceptionally friendly. I'd rate the burgers more highly than any other place near by, the only downside is being a stall they have a smaller menu than most cafes or restaurants
Read moreThe other down side is it is in the Armadale market which is crammed and just general not a pleasant place to sit. But I do like that they now have a permanent place I can find their food- hopefully they outgrown the market!

A small kiosk with superb veggie burgers. Very friendly lady behind counter. Prices perhaps a bit expensive for what is essentially a take away off recyclable containers with a communal seating area when V Rev has a sit down lunch time menu for £5 ( plus £1 "voluntary" carbon contribution) around the corner. But good place if you're in a rush.

Re location- it is on the opposite side to the more established food area - so as you go in the door of the Arndale near the Co-op turn left.

We stumbled across this place passing on the tram and saw it through the window. We have the jackfruit wings and kfc burger which was both absolutely amazing. I'm still dreaming about them.n It was nice to have something that contained vegetables instead of seitan all the time.

Disappointing meat alternatives - Edit
Was slightly disappointed that the “no beef burger” was very obviously just a Quorn Ultimate burger, resulting in a meal that I could’ve very easily made myself at home for a fraction of the price. Still nice food, but I have had way better meat alternatives elsewhere and would’ve expected something better than a frozen supermarket burger for the high price.

Read moreWe chose this company because they are a small UK independent company and we plus think they're amazing. They are a premium product that are produced in the same way and use the same ingredients as a Beyond Meat burger, therefore cost the same price.
If you was to have a Moving Mountain burger from other places, for instance Red's True BBQ, you would pay £11.50. We charge £6.50 (+£1 for cheese and onion rings) for this same product in a brioche which we think is reasonable for the cost of production. This dish is our most expensive dish to produce and when we buy in certain products, we carefully choose the ethics and quality of that company.
Sorry to hear this burger wasn't to your liking but we hope you will give us another try in the future.

Lovely Korean Seoul bowl - Edit
Popped here for dinner on Sunday afternoon. I had limited time as I was on a training day nearby and needed to get back. Luckily there were salad boxes already made up to take. I got the Korean Seoul bowl plus a brownie. I wasn’t so keen on the brownie and it was a bit small for the price, but the salad was so flavoursome and a sizeable portion and great value for money. Staff were lovely. I’ll be back!

I think Wholesome Junkies will be my go to place in Arndale food market for lunch. Owner Chelsea creates innovative and delicious food that appeals to everyone. I ordered tater tots with buffalo sauce and Korean Seoul bowl for my husband. The tater tots are to die for, so moreish and the buffalo sauce was nice and spicy. The Korean Seoul bowl was awesome too...The menu will change regularly...Highly recommended for everyone.
