Nice location, arrogant staff, way too expensive for what's on offer.

Fancy menu, but that's all - Edit
When I read the menu, with all those creative dishes, my expectations were quite high. But then the food was not as special. I think there is room for improvement.

creative, with room for improvement - Edit
Wir Komplizen has an interesting location and concept. As I understand their concept, they try to follow a mostly low waste-principle and also are very fair with their workers (not standard in hospitality business!).
Read moreYou can feel this, the staff is very welcoming, friendly and takes time to individually explain all of their beer specialties and dishes.
Prices are a little more on the higher side, according to the menu alright, the dishes sound very creative.
We had all the vegan starters (hummus bread, carrot salmon and homemade seitan, as well as a little corn pate). Here comes the word “little”, portion sizes were literally tiny and - except the corn-starter absolutely not nicely arranged or presented (see pictures).
Taste was solid, the bread was good, but not outstanding. Therefore quite high priced.
Main dishes are around 17-20€ and looked way more impressive, but my roasted cabbage was very undercooked, therefore hard to cut through and could probably bring some people gas (not such a big deal for me, I’m used to raw cabbage etc.) 😅
All in all it was a nice evening, especially the very nice staff made it very enjoyable, explaining their beer specialities competently and in detail, but the food and its presentation wasn’t what I expected beforehand.

Wide range of beer! - Edit
A nice and cozy place to taste different beer varieties. Also from small local breweries. Ther are some vegan dishes like soups or pulled pork sandwiches made of jackfruit. The guys who work there are very kind and know everything about the beer they are selling.
