Mmmmmm - Edit
Lovely area and setting - though a bit dark with empty cake shelves was it closed ? No shown upstairs for table for 1. Seated between two tables while other tables for 2 were free so felt squashed in. Should have asked for another table really. Anyway. Limited gluten free menu. Weren’t keen to serve the burger without bun and gluten free bread on side. So suggested mushrooms pasta. Nice sauce. Had a non alcoholic passion fruit drink on side - refreshing. Only desert I could have was brownie with it without ice cream - I opted without but after tasting the sad brown flat square I regretted in. Not impressed. Will not return. Bill £35 either service. Felt ripped off and peckish 2 hours later. The staff were attentive though.

Fab place for our Xmas meal - Edit
Came here for a xmas meal and it was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really lovely too.
Read moreI had the lentil soup to start (top marks but GIANT portion), Beet Wellington (very tasty) and the sticky toffee pudding (wow!). So so tasty.

Solid choice to make everyone happy - Edit
Fully vegan (even the feta), classy restaurant stacked with mostly Western faves like Burger, Wellington and Steak. With a large plant based menu, Wulf & Lamb has something for everyone. It's quite a safe choice and just on the boundary of being a bit expensive. Great overall. I recommend the tasty Mac N Cheese.

Lovely! - Edit
The place has a really classy feel to it inside and would make for a great date night. I wanted a burger but they didn't have an option that wasn't made with fake meat. I went for the chilli non carne instead which came with a sour cream on the side and my friend had the green curry which came with sweet potato mash as well as rice. I was really impressed with both the quality and portion sizes of the dishes.
Read moreMy only complaint would be the cost of the wine as it was about a tenner just for a 175 ml.
I'd definitely like to go back and try more dishes though as there was a wide choice of delicious sounding things.
Pros: All vegan!, Tasty dishes, Classy place
Cons: Expensive

What’s the orange thing on the green curry?

Vegan steak blew my mind - Edit
Steak’s texture freaked me out a bit, I must admit 🫣 but luckily the taste was quite subtle, not super meaty.
Read moreBurger was great, just perfect balance of flavours. Also loaded nachos served as a nice appetiser. Plus really nice service.

Nope - Edit
The tofu scramble was disappointing—just a tablespoon alongside hard sourdough bread. For the price, the portion was inadequate. Service was fine, but the meal left me unsatisfied.

Not quite the experience we expected from the other reviews - Edit
Our experience here was disappointing to say the least. The nachos were the worst we have had in our lives, shop-bought chips with some store-bought toppings (not much of them - for £11 this was unacceptable). The mac&cheese was incredibly dry and really not very good. The katsu curry came with a miserable handful of not very fresh, definitely wilted spinach leaves and barely any katsu sauce at all. The sticky toffee pudding had basically no toffee syrup in it. The burger also tasted quite chemical - but fine, it’s fake meat after all. The wedges were the only good item that we tried.
Read moreThe service was also quite lacking - while our female server was lovely, the male manager was rude both to us (completely ignoring us as we left, no thank you or goodbye), as well as the other female staff member. To add insult to the injury, a sneaky “discretionary” service charge is added to your bill - as we were in a rush to leave to make it to the theatre, we didn’t notice so there was that.
We have written to the management to make them aware of this situation, and at the moment I absolutely couldn’t recommend this place. For the price, the expectations were a lot higher. If management responds, I will update the review.
I am giving two stars because it is a vegan business and I love nothing more than supporting vegan businesses - but improvements are much needed.
Update: I am editing to three stars because actually after contacting the team they made an effort/promise to look into the matter and address the various issues with the location. They also offered a partial refund. So three stars and we will try them again at some point.

Perfect pancakes - Edit
Coffee was very nice and the chocolate pancakes were delicious! Not too sweet, good flavour, nice and fluffy and just the right amount.
Read moreThe service was good but they were very quick to clean plates away - they cleared my husbands plate before I had finished eating, which I find a bit rude - and it felt a bit like we were being rushed.
On the whole a good experience, nice food in a nice setting.
Pros: Good food, Good coffee , Nice setting
Cons: Service could be a little more considerate

Meh - Edit
Nice atmosphere and lovely service but the food was very average. The shepherds pie was too salty to eat and the mac and cheese a bit bland. Sticky toffee pudding was lovely but whipped cream feels cheap. Wouldn't return.

Not a good experience - Edit
The shepherds pie was way over salted. The mac and cheese tasted like penne with mustard gravy and nutritional yeast, not cheese. The ceasar salad was pretty boring and with very big cubes of raw smoked tofu - and some kind of chillies or peppers. There were spicy peppercorns all over the dish, and the menu didn't mention anything about spice (I get strong acid reflux if I eat anything spicy)...

Burger as Safe Option - Edit
Based on other reviews and experiences of too salty dishes, the BigWulf burger seemed to be a good option. Indeed, the wings were quite salty but not yet too much. The burger itself was tasty as was the cheesecake as dessert. The homemade lemonade was a bit too bitter but still nice. Overall a good experience although too pricey for what is served in terms of quality as well as quantity. It's good food but not outstanding. One big downside is that there's only one toilet for the whole restaurant, which is vastly out of proportion.

Tiny portions, too salty - Edit
The place and overall location is super nice and cozy, erring on the fancy side.
Read moreThe food is good but unfortunately (I'm not sure if it was just that day) incredibly salty, especially the shepherds pie. Furthermore, food portions were pretty small, even though, aside from the saltiness, the flavor profiles were right on point.

Great location, average food - Edit
Stopped by for lunch and the menu offers some nice looking options. I got the beef with polenta and it looked amazing. The taste was underwhelming, lacked savor and salt. Tasted my partner’s shepherd’s pie and it was very very salty, covered any other taste. Would give it a second shot and choose different dishes

Excellent Food + Vibe - Edit
Great experience here. Got a good breakfast scramble, sourdough toast and coffees along with a croissant that was perfectly buttery and flaky. Orange juice fresh squeezed. Pricey, £58 for 2 people, but worth it for a visit. Highly recommend. The street it’s located on is foot traffic only.
