Serves meat, vegan options available. Has a separate menu that contains only vegetarian items, a lot of which are vegan but not clearly labeled as such, so please inquire. The space is cozy and the atmosphere is casual. Serves a variety of teas and juice drinks also. BYOB with a corkage fee. NOTE: take-out only during Spring 2019 due to renovations - please send updates.

Mmm

First tried 14 years ago when we lived in Allston for a bit. Not sure if the restaurant is still open but the website sells the tea salad ingredients. Their pumpkin tofu curry was everything.

Five Star

The tea salad is THE BEST. Tons of veg and vegan options, but would love to see them identified on the menu.

Pros: Lots of vegan and veggie options, Unique flavors, Reasonably priced

Cons: Vegan items not identified as such on the menu

Great

I love this place. There are good options for veg/veggie. I eat the rainbow noodles usually and they are great. They're a little spicy for me but I sometimes ask for less spice. I had the tea salad and one of the soups too but I'm not a fan of those.

Healthy home cooking vegetarian food for your soul and body.

Many options you can choose from Salads, Rice (curry), Noodles dishes.
Most of the items are Gluten free.
Some items have hard boiled egg for topping but you can tell servers to without it.
Pickled Tea Salad
Chickpea Tofu Salad
Rainbow Noodle
Coconut Noodle Soup are must try dishes.

Pros: Very healthy food (non greasy), Hi protein (use chickpea flour for many dishes), unique (ingredients

Cons: business hours (different business hours, call! , only street parking

Yummy meals

I've never been disappointed with my meal here. All of the salads I've tried are really good - fresh with a nice balance of different flavors and textures. If you haven't had chickpea tofu before, I would highly recommend it. It is smoother and has a different texture than typical soy tofu, and it offers a nice change of pace.

For the vegan and vegetarian folks out there - I would definitely suggest checking out this place. It's easy to skip over it, since they serve meat in the midst of three strictly vegan establishments on Allston's "vegan alley." Even so, they have a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian items, many of which are unique and unparalleled - you won't find this kind of food anywhere else in Boston.

Pros: Unique offerings, Good salads
