Tremendously Tasty - Edit
I am so glad that I managed to locate this stall, it was well worth the extensive search. While the portion sizes weren’t huge, it was still a very cheap meal given the excellence of the food. Every dish that I had delivered on the flavours that it promised and I would be more than happy to return to sample more.

One of the best vegetarian eateries! - Edit
Amazing food options! Their dishes are ever so yummy 😋, with sambal fish slices and chicken drumstick 🍗 among the best. You wouldn’t believe you’re eating the plant-based versions. 😃 Simply put - cheap and great! Stallholders are always so friendly too! 👍👍👍

Great Taste, great price - Edit
I couldn’t believe the mutton dish was vegan. It tasted so „real“ - my eyes almost popped out when the staff told me that is actually made out of beans. We had two dishes and paid only 7 S$.

Yuan Yuan, Chinatown, Singapore - Edit
TL:DR; no longer all vegan.

I used to like this place so much and on occasion travelled to specifically eat here when not too far away; it is with a heavy heart to advise that as per the pic I've just upload, this venue uses egg in at least 1 dish. I asked separately the lady & the gent who work here if this is real egg, or some sort of imitation egg. I regret to advise that both advised that this is real egg.
This is a shame as the vegetable dishes are tasty, the owners are nice and the prices are affordable. It's very much fried food though, so there's defo healthier food around.

Simply amazing!! - Edit
Everything is vegan, even the ‘pork’ and the ‘chicken’. The staff is very nice and helpful, there’s plenty of choice, and the food is nothing fancy but it’s so delicious and very local!

Delightful - Edit
First trip to Singapore. First trip to a hawker centre. Can’t beat the price. Friendly staff and tasty food, especially the crispy ‘pork’ soy. Also had the bee hoon (curry) which was also nice. I’ll be back for some rice and maybe some pepper tofu!

Good Variety - Edit
Fabulous lunch for under $6 Aside from the specials of the day, they have a vast array of other items. Loved the main course. Dessert wasn’t my kind of thing but glad I tried for only $2. It’s to the rear of the yellow zone if coming from tooth temple.

Their glutinous rice, fermented crispy mock meat and mee siam all taste standard. Lots of variety available. Their off day is not fixed, do call them before visiting.

Good food helpful staff - Edit
Tried this place today. The staff explained every food and was patient until we decided what to pick. We ended up buying 2 plates of rice with about 4 sides each and only cost us $11.80 The food was really delicious, loved every bite of it. Only negative was that it wasn't warm enough. Other than that the place and all the staff was great. Highly recommending this stall if you are in Singapore.

breakfast - Edit
I had come for lunch a few days earlier but the place was heavin and an absolute bombsight for that reason.
Read moreI decided to stop for breakfast a few days later. I'm happy it has vegan status as there was a language barrier but I knew I was safe.
A few strange looks at that time in the morning and I get the feeling they don't get as many tourists as the nearby outlets. A shame as my plateful was SGD 3.5 and really tasty.
A mix of currry, noodles and mock meat and veg there is plenty of choice. The gravy was really tasty and I came away satisfied and ready for the day ahead.
It's worth a visit if you are in Chinatown especially for breakfast.
Pros: tasty, located, staff

lovely food - Edit
Was so difficult to find as we didn't have WI FI and the sign does not say yuan yuan at all just "vegetarian" so it wasn't until now we're back in the hotel we just realised we'd visited! It's located behind the first row of street food shops It's a pick your own buffet style. The food was gorgeous and very cheap, for about £2.50 you get a big portion and there's a juice shop on the other side if you want a drink

Tasty and inexpensive - Edit
This was the first place we ate in Singapore. There was a variety of vegetable and mock meat dishes to choose from along with spring rolls. I opted for 2 dishes with brown rice and a spring roll paying around $4.40. Great value for the amount of food and it was really delicious too.
