Winter melon, preserved vegetable, wild yellow mushroom. Daikon, mixed beans puree, asparagus, peach gum. Mock abalone, carrot, cucumber, sprouts, spicy Inaniwa cold noodles. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-3:00pm, 6:00pm-11:00pm.

Rare in HK - Edit
Plant-based dining is rare in HK, and Yuan is not bad considering local standards. I first tried the 12-course spring menu and was pleasantly surprised by the creative dishes with interesting ingredients. Recently, I returned to try the 12-course summer menu, hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. Unlike the vibrant spring menu, the summer menu was largely bland and boring, lacking any interesting ingredients. Despite this setback, I still look forward to what they might offer in the future. The venue itself is nice, with a decent drink list, and I particularly enjoy their sparkling hojicha, which is always a highlight for me.

The 12-course vegan tasting menu is among the best of its kind. Presentation and quality of ingredients are stellar. Each dish is a fun new surprise. Lots of different flavours and textures. Quite an experience. Great for special occasions.
