Elaborate vegetarian spread..

Could count upto 20 to 30 dishes in the vegetarian spread. And you get to pick the quantity u want and pay by weight. Rice and soup comes free. The range of options in itself makes one want to come back a second time again. Plus u get discount coupons based on the amount you spend here. Nice chilled out place. Either one can dine in or take away too.

A rainbow of food!

Changchun is a great chain restaurant only in Tainan
Every time you go, you can choose a different dish, a different country's cuisine, and the soup and tea will probably be different each time you go too.
Great for trying new dishes and having a bit of everything

Packing a tray full of food will cost around 90-150 TWD
It is priced by weight
+10 TWD for *Unlimited* rice - choose red rice or white rice
two soups and tea included for free
And each time, you may receive 1-3 discount vouchers for next time, yay

Sushi, taro, sweet potato, fried rice, rice porridge, dumplings, spring rolls, various vegetables - carrot, green leaves, broccoli, beans, seaweed, mushrooms, various tofu dishes, sweet potato balls and some other 'dessert' type items. So much variety, super colourful

Some dishes can be hit or miss... a bit mushy or oily
But most are great :)

Pros: Diverse foods, Unlimited rice, soup, tea - you won't leave hungry, Enjoy a bit of everything!

Cons: A bit oily, A bit expensive, Some dishes can be hit or miss

The Sweet potatoes!

This place had more variety than the one I went to this morning, but also was double the price. You pay 10 extra for rice as well, but it was a nice place with good options. So many different flavors! I love to try a bite of everything. The sweet potatoes were my favorite, but I also loved the tofu skin and some of the other veggies. Yum!

Gets the job done

Typical veg buffet place. Watch out for eggs and mayo in some things. Mostly vegan otherwise. Pay by the weight and pay a small price for additional rice and soup. Good to know that this is a chain and there are many locations throughout Tainan.

Pros: many options, unlimited rice

Cons: uncertain non-vegan items

Pros: Très varié, Propre , Délicieux à cette adresse :長春健康素食餐飲連鎖--民族店(自助餐)

Delicious buffet

Bright and clean place with lots of tables. Takeaway possible, too. Reasonable prices (pay by weight). Great variety, vegan options available.

Pros: Free rice and soup

Fresh buffet with raw food!

This is a pay-by-weight buffet. I think the restaurant is a chain. It felt like such a relief to eat here after days of excessively greasy traditional food. The 100% vegetarian buffet is huge and has plenty of vegan options. It felt so good to eat raw vegetables, and food that wasn't too oily. THe buffet comes with white or black rice, soup, and a cold chan drink for dessert. It seems somewhat more pricey than other cafeterias ($5-$6 US) because the quality is much higher. I highly recommend eating here.

Pros: serves an assortment of raw vegetables, not too greasy, black rice

Cons: a little more expensive than an average cafeteria, serves egg dishes (have to ask if you're vegan)
