The Sweet potatoes! - Edit
This place had more variety than the one I went to this morning, but also was double the price. You pay 10 extra for rice as well, but it was a nice place with good options. So many different flavors! I love to try a bite of everything. The sweet potatoes were my favorite, but I also loved the tofu skin and some of the other veggies. Yum!

Gets the job done - Edit
Typical veg buffet place. Watch out for eggs and mayo in some things. Mostly vegan otherwise. Pay by the weight and pay a small price for additional rice and soup. Good to know that this is a chain and there are many locations throughout Tainan.
Read morePros: many options, unlimited rice
Cons: uncertain non-vegan items

Fresh buffet with raw food! - Edit
This is a pay-by-weight buffet. I think the restaurant is a chain. It felt like such a relief to eat here after days of excessively greasy traditional food. The 100% vegetarian buffet is huge and has plenty of vegan options. It felt so good to eat raw vegetables, and food that wasn't too oily. THe buffet comes with white or black rice, soup, and a cold chan drink for dessert. It seems somewhat more pricey than other cafeterias ($5-$6 US) because the quality is much higher. I highly recommend eating here.
Read morePros: serves an assortment of raw vegetables, not too greasy, black rice
Cons: a little more expensive than an average cafeteria, serves egg dishes (have to ask if you're vegan)
