Choices include aubergine sandwich (order without cheese), avocado sandwich (order without Italian dressing), santa cruzer, salads, and spaghetti. Also has an option to build customized sandwiches from a list of ingredients and toppings. Open Mon-Sat 8:00am-6:00pm, Sun 10:00am-6:00pm.

Get the Eggplant Sammy - Edit
This spot always draws a crowd no matter the day and are quite possibly the best sandwich shop that you're going to find here in Santa Cruz. I recently came here seeking a vegan friendly sammy option, and while limited, they were able to deliver on my order.
Read moreHere's how it works: You head inside (safely), grab a number and wait to be called to place your sandwich order. Feel free to ask questions and request substitutes if you have particular dietary needs. Once you order, go to the register, pay, and wait outside.
For my vegan option, I went for their Grilled Eggplant Sandwich with peppers and house Italian dressing. I asked to remove the cheese and made sure that the dressing was vegan. Fortunately they said it was so I'm happy that I was able to order this sandwich. For $9, you get a really solid, large meal that is super delicious and filling. Make sure to get it toasted.
