I think this was my favourite place in Lisbon. My non vegan friend loved this place too. The cheese board was just amazing. Both our mains and our desserts were just delicious.

I ended up walking by this place when exploring the city and saw that they had a cheese board on their menu. After exploring a little further I came back for the cheese board and a glass of wine. It was delicious! Really great variety of cheeses!

Nice place, good staff and excellent food. We followed the chef's suggestion and tried aubergine cannelloni with veggies, mushrooms, vegan mozzarella, tomato sauce with rice and salad (including slices of pear and orange). For dessert I chose hazelnuts and chocolate mousse!

Ótimo local, bom atendimento e comida excelente. Seguimos a sugestão do chef e pedimos um cannelloni de berinjela, vegetais, cogumelos e mussarela vegana, acompanhado de arroz selvagem e salada (incluindo pedaços de pera e laranja). Para sobremesa, pedi um mousse de avelã com chocolate!
Update: Voltei 2 dias depois e provei o macarrão talharim com almôndegas de seitan. Muito bom também

The best vegan experience in Lisbon - Edit
I found the description of this restaurant quite diminishing compared to what we found: exceptional gourmet vegan food in an amazing and friendly atmosphere! The Portuguese platter of appetizers is a true foodie experience and it is big enough to be shared among two people. The francesinha is really amazing, and the desserts were delicious! Staff are friendly, willing to give suggestions and explain the dishes, and the service is quick. Prices are higher than other vegan places in Lisbon, but totally aligned with the quality and creativity of the food. Super recommended!

I'm vegan for 17 years and have eaten all over the world. We thought our meal here was one of the best we've ever had. The flavors were unique, blended together so well, and the dishes were just beautifully composed. My husband got the sardine appetizer which he really enjoyed. The "corn bread" was not like "southern US" cornbread, it was a baked bread and it was kind of tough to chew. I had a very tasty pureed soup. We each got an entree featuring the traditional Portuguese sausage and the flavors and textures were fabulous. The chocolate hazlenut mousse was very good, but not unusual. My husband really liked the layer cake, I found the flavor to be a bit lacking (subtle, he called it). Definitely would come back. Service was lovely; she seemed genuinely touched when I told her how much we loved our food.

Everything I ate was very good. It's not a cheap restaurant, but the standard of food was really high. The big advantage is that you can try Portuguese cuisine in a vegan version. It's a really nice change from pizza, burgers and other boring things you can eat everywhere.

This vegan food project will blow your taste buds away. The food is very high-end and delicious and you might see some options (like codfish and octopus) that you’ll really wonder about how to make vegan - Ao26 has no problem in doing so. The staff will explain all the dishes to you as well and the place is nicely decorated also!

I really appreciated the plant based take on typical Portuguese dishes! The food was absolutely delicious and very nicely served, the space had a very cozy atmosphere and the staff was really friendly too. My personal highlight was the chocolate mousse with an orange flavor for dessert. This was definitely one of my favorite places to eat plant based in Lisbon.
