There's also a fridge stocked with ready-made drinks and a few grab-and-go items. Est. 2017 in the Napili Plaza shopping center near Napili Market. Local Plant Based Treasure! - Edit
Great plant based menu with multiple options and daily specials. Beautiful açaí bowls & super friendly staff. Mellow atmosphere with a few tables inside & out. So glad we found them during our trip!

A'A Roots - Edit
I have eaten at A'A Roots several times in the last two years and it never disappoints. I love their kale salad and acai bowl, they are always winners. I just discovered their massive marshmallow chocolate chip cookie and nearly died and went to heaven. Staff are always super friendly here. Definitely a must in Maui.

Everything looked great! Great staff! Tried one of the specials- red lentil kale wrap. Hubby had tostadas. Great flavors and so filling! Scoped out a lot or other options as neighbors got their orders. Açaí bowls looked intense. And vegan Caesar salad. Wow! Can’t wait to go back. Want to try a Buddha bowl!

Excellent vegan food in West Maui! - Edit
Really good all-vegan breakfast and lunch place 10-15 minutes by car west of Kaanapali beach area (in where the Napili market is). Had excellent tofu scramble, avocado toast, soba noodle salad, and “sassie” burger. It was all very good. People running the place were friendly and helpful. So nice to know that what you’re ordering is going to be vegan for real! Outdoor seating was clean and ok. Next to a full-on BBQ place - interesting juxtaposition! Also a very good coffee place 30 ft away as well as a taco place for groups that need an array of vegan and non-vegan options.

Was so thrilled that we got to try this place on our trip. Had lunch here (Caesar, sassie burger and nachos) and then breakfast (tropical açaí bowl & Sunday waffle special). Each dish was so flavorful, unique and delicious… and the plating is simply lovely! They have many more options than what’s on the online menu (pic attached). A must visit!

EXCELLENT friendly service. Delicious food. We got the Sunday Funday Waffle, the Avocado Toast and the chocolate chip marshmallow cookie. So good! I recommend them all and I would return and order again.
Read moreWhen we visited, the inside was not open. It was no worries there was a friendly guy out front taking orders. The items were brought out in compostable co trainers and we sat on the patio. The weather was great, the food was great, perfect breakfast!

I had the Vegan Cesar salad which was very good. For dessert I orderd the Ka-Chava acai bowl. The food overall was excellent, but the prices are extremely high. Why charge $3 for almond butter if it's just a light drizzle on top of my acai bowl?

Great place to go for good vegan food. Everything was made fresh— I had the avocado toast and soba bowl and they were both delicious! The staff were super nice and so was the restaurant cat. Definitely recommend trying smoothies as well, really good.

After a trying vacation with my husband’s family where their dietary preferences were in constant opposition to ours, we decided to ditch them and treat ourselves to a’a Roots Cafe for breakfast. We could not have made a better decision. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and colorful. I played with a charming shop kitty while sipping the best smoothie I’ve had on the islands to date. After enjoying an indulgent chocolate croissant (dessert always comes before breakfast, right?), my husband and I chowed down on two warm breakfast burritos. This place is a gem and well worth the visit. Don’t hesitate!
