Vegan Platter Delicious - Edit
Stumbled upon this place as it is next to Tamarind. Chill vibes, comfy tables and a vegan platter which was so tasty! Vegan for three years and I had never heard of this place. I couldn’t finish the platter, lovely variety and so much flavour. Feels good to find a healthy option at a restaurant.

Best Ethiopian place in town! - Edit
Best Ethiopian food in town!
Read moreI have been trying to recreate their dishes for the longest time, but they remain entirely unmatched. Their spinach gomen (?sp) is addictive.
Highly recommend the vegetarian platter - it is entirely vegan and an absolute feast (leftovers had us eating for days)!
Pros: Best Ethiopian food in town!, HUGE portions , Great for group outings
Cons: Not 100% vegan restaurant , Need to order more injeera (ratio tends to be off)

Fun and delicious vegan dinner - Edit
We had a delicious Ethiopian dinner at Abyssinia. As soon as we said we were vegans, the woman told us what we could have. Since this was our first time there while vacationing in Canada, she suggested the vegetable platter for two to share. The platter was not only incredibly delicious, beautiful in its presentation, and fun to eat with the injera bread. The amount of food was very generous, and actually one of the platters would have been enough for both of us. No Ethiopian beer the night we were there, but beer tasted very good with the spicy food. The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday evening. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Amazing food and service! - Edit
This was an excellent experience and they have a vegan menu! The food was great and we hit it off with the staff so they gave us free Bunna coffee! "Ethiopian coffee ceremony complete with fresh roasted coffee and incense." I'm not a big of incense but I loved this. The coffee was strong but smooth. The food was amazing and I left very satisfied. Staff were so friendly and beautifully dress. Great atmosphere. Highly reccomend!
