Serves meat, vegan options available. Ethiopian restaurant with a variety of vegetarian dishes and a vegan combo. All vegetarian dishes are vegan. Open Thu-Sun 5:00pm-9:00pm.
Closed Mon-Wed.
My friend and I both adore Ethiopian food, and had been meaning to try this spot for ages due to glowing reviews from friends.
We were disappointed with the amount of options they had but they were still tasty. The beets were my favorite.
I don't recommend getting the timatim salad. We didn't realize it would just be a chopped up, out of season tomato with seasoning. Definitely not worth the $10 it was, or even $5.
Staff was very friendly though and service was quick. Located in a nice spot with tons of parking.
The entire veggie sampler is vegan, the injera is amazing and each dish is expertly spiced. Misir wot and shiro wot were our favorites but everything was delicious.
We stopped here on a drive thru Connecticut and were so glad we did. The food was delicious and they had several vegan options. The owner was kind and generous. Restaurant was clean. I wish we lived closer - I would eat here all the time! Great place! Would give 5 stars if allowed for restaurants that aren't 100% veggie.
Enjoyed an excellent vegan meal tonight! Food was delicious and service was great. Owners are very friendly and attentive. One of very few places to have Ethiopian food in Connecticut.
