Was informed the cakes were vegan, the next day informed they are not - Edit
My partner and I visited this place two days in a row because we loved the vegan chicken sandwich. On the first day, we ordered the carrot cake, and I made sure to triple-check that it was vegan since my partner is allergic to milk.
Read moreOn the second day, when I asked a different staff member if the new lemon cake was vegan, she informed me that none of the cakes in the display were actually vegan—only the brownie. I explained that me and my partner are vegan, him with an allergy to milk, and we both had eaten the carrot cake yesterday. The staff (the chef and the girl serving) were not shocked, were very dismissive / rude, and didn’t offer any solutions or reassurance.
Thankfully, my partner didn’t have a reaction, but it was concerning. I wanted to share this so that others with allergies are aware. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place for vegans.

Wir hatten das vegane chicken Sandwich mit Pommes. Was mich nicht überzeugt hat. Pommes war auch sehr labbrig. Der Nachtisch war dafür echt gut. Personal war wirklich sehr nett. Würde dem Laden eine zweite Chance geben, eventuell haben wir einfach nur das falsche bestellt. Barzahlung möglich.

We were staying nearby so we visited Ahimsa on several occasions. It's definitely the best vegan option around Cala Major. The teriyaki tofu bowl is the most satiating and filling. The tofu scramble tostada was huge -- as well as delicious. The must have here is the vegan blueberry "cheesecake". Everything was delicious, prepared fresh. The staff is very nice and friendly
