Lovely experience - Edit
Service was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating. We were in a hurry to get to an event and our server did everything he could to help us achieve that goal. We got the Fried rice and the Sweet-and-Sour Tofu; both were gorgeous and scrumptious. The restaurant is super clean and bright and has a lovely atmosphere.

Just the best - Edit
I just love the lunch special. The Thai iced tea was absolutely delicious as well. Come here for lunch and you won’t need any other meal for the day as this place will keep you very full.

Good but pricey - Edit
I thought this was good Thai food, but not exceptional. I'd give 4 stars, but it loses another for being expensive.

One of my very favorite places! - Edit
I'm surprised to see I haven't written a review yet since I love this place so much. I have been a fan of Araya's for many years and even had the rehearsal dinner for my wedding at the location in the University District a long time ago.
Read moreThis isn't a very big location, but I'm usually able to get a table. They also validate parking, which is very nice in this busy area.
I love to come for lunch because they have an outstanding lunch special. Before the pandemic, they did a buffet, and they have replaced that with basically a huge meal with a variety of dishes. You choose either the curry or stir fry of the day, and it comes with pad Thai, spring rolls, rice, salad, and black rice pudding for dessert. The lunch special is available every day.
If you aren't getting the lunch special, I recommend the massaman banana curry. Everything else is excellent, too. They have good brussel sprouts.
Pros: Lunch special, All vegan, Delicious food
Cons: Small-ish space, can be noisy

Best Vegan Thai Food ever!! - Edit
We found this ALL vegan Thai restaurant a few blocks away from our hotel, and the bulk of the menu was also gluten free.
Read moreSo many options and all of the things we had were delicious!
We got the Spring Rolls and Veggie Cakes as appetizers and split the Papaya Salad and Veggie Fried Rice for dinner. All of it was phenomenal and it was SO much food for the price.
Service and atmosphere were also absolutely fantastic! If we lived here, we would definitely frequent this place.
Pros: All vegan, Mostly gluten free, Flavor out of this world

Delicious vegan thai - Edit
Great food and service. The swimming rama is delicious. We went while it was very cold outside and it seemed like their heat was broken, but they had portable heaters everywhere. The food got cold fast but I’d still come back since it tasted so good.

Amazing vegan Thai - Edit
My favourite vegan Thai food restaurant I have eaten at to date. The portion sizes are generous and the menu is quite sizeable. I always make time to come to Arayas when in town.
Read moreBellevue location is smaller so you may end up waiting during peak hours for a table. The location on University Way is a lot larger and better for groups.

Delicious thai food - Edit
I’ve been here multiple times and have always enjoyed the dishes. The drunken mushroom noodles are so delicious and flavorful and have a lot of great vegetables. The thai fried rice is delicious as well. I enjoyed the summer rolls and spring rolls here too. Overall great and worth the visit!

Decent vegan Thai, but don’t expect to be wowed - Edit
We were hopeful coming in, especially after a disappointing experience the night before at another vegan Thai spot in Seattle. This place was busy (a good sign), and we appreciated that they had wide rice noodles for the pad see ew, something oddly missing at the previous restaurant.
Read moreWe ordered pad see ew with tofu, veggie rice, and spring rolls, along with a few drinks. The food was fine but a bit bland. As someone who regularly cooks and enjoys Thai dishes at home, nothing really stood out. Not bad, just not memorable.
If you’re looking specifically for an all vegan Thai option, this place will do the job. But if you’re used to flavorful Thai food, even from traditional spots that can easily make dishes vegan, this may fall a bit short of expectations.

Great menu - Edit
I have been to Aarya's place probably twice now and ordered takeaway quite frequently. I really love the wide selection on the menu, and they have a lunch special which is really great value. I really love the pineapple curry, and the tofu cream cheese crispy rolls, tom yum soup and mango salad.

Nothing special - Edit
It’s a pretty small and crowded space with lots of artificial plants hanging from the ceiling. It resonates an overall outdated feeling. Their menu is quite extensive and their service is fast, but the taste of the food is just okay. The best I had there were the veggie cakes. The pad see iew and Kaeng ka ri both were bland and too sweet and needed extra hot sauce to make them tasty. At a price of $20 for the curry rice is not included. The Thai ice tea with coconut milk was missing the nice strong smokey flavor and was just mostly sweet.

Vegan Thai - Edit
Araya’s Place in Bellevue, WA, is a delightful Thai restaurant that offers a wonderful array of vegan options. The atmosphere is open and inviting, making it a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The menu features an impressive selection of authentic Thai dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Curries. Be sure to look for their lunch special which is a huge amount of food for a good price. (It's meant to replace their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that is no longer) The staff is friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Thai cuisine or trying it for the first time, Araya’s Place is a must-visit!

-veggie satay - excellent 10/10, shockingly maybe the best thing we got. Excellent sauces.
Read more-plant based meat with peanut sauce noodles - great 9.4/10. Wasn't the best veggie meat I've ever had but it was cooked well and amazing dish flavors overall.
-banana massaman curry - great 9.4/10, a little too much banana flavor; would have been better with some subtler plantains maybe. Delicious roti
Unique Thai food that was flavored so well, seemed like it was more authentic than your standard American Thai place

More incredible vegan Thaifood in Seattle - Edit
Some of the best Thai we've had in a long time. We found this lovely little gem in the Bellevue part of Seattle. Not far from where we were staying. Lovely little corner location. We ordered way too much food, but was able to bring some back home with us. The pot stickers were tasty and the Som Tum salad was great. We asked for about a 3 on the spicy levels and for me that was perfect. I don't really like to over due the heat but a three had a nice tingle. Super jealous of the great vegan options available here in Seattle. Cherish them.

Food was ok but it is a really stretch to call this Thai food still. Pad thai was more like rice noodles on ketchup. So many great Thai places around with vegan but if you are in the area or someone insists on it just set your expectations right and it is fine.

Very good food and friendly service - Edit
I came in here on a cold rainy afternoon for some hot soup and spicy pad Thai. They did not disappoint. It’s a bright restaurant on street corner in downtown Bellevue, with comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere.
Read moreI got a big bowl of tom kah soup, that was very flavorful and filling. I got the pad Thai with seitan and level 5 spice. The waitress kind of scared me, saying that 5 is “crazy spicy,” so I got the soup as a 5 in order to test it. I didn’t think it was that spicy, so I went 5 on the pad Thai. Honestly, I’d give it a 3. YMMV.

Amazing food! - Edit
I got takeout crispy spring rolls, peanut sauce dish, mango salad, and coconut “icecream”. It was all perfect and fresh! I think you could bring people here who aren’t fans of asian food as well, since there are plenty of dishes that don’t lean too sour or dark with sauces. Seems like the best place for vegans in Bellevue!

The portions are huge but the costs reflect that. I would like smaller portions for the lunch menu. Overall, the food was delicious.
