Vegan trained chef

The chef trained at a plant based culinary school and makes her own seitan. Very knowledge and delicious. One of my new favorites in the city. Very affordable and generous.

Pros: Mock duck , Papaya salad , Thai tea with coconut milk

Really good place with lots of vegan options

It is a vegan friendly kitchen and the food is absolutely amazing. I tried the lunch special and it was ridiculously cheap, ended up paying 14$ for an entree and soup.

I tried the Tom kha soup and the sokyuthai noodle soup. Both was vegan and really tasty.

I would totally go here again and recommend it to all vegans.

Pros: Lots of options , Easy on the pocket

Cons: Wait times are a little above NY average

Vegan-friendly Thai place

This is a vegan-friendly Thai place (I emphasize this because the name might wrongly suggest that is a friendly Thai-vegan place). This place has been in business for around 10 years, but they recently rebranded. The owner told me she went to a plant-based chef school, and now--in addition to meat--they have an extensive list of vegan offerings. The online menu has many, many more vegan items than the in-store menu. However, the owner told me that they will update the in-store menu soon, and in any case, there are some clearly listed vegan items on the in-store menu as well.

This place is waiter-served, with tables, silverware, etc. I had a vegan lunch special; it was quite good. Note that most in Thai places, the food uses fish sauce--the vegan food here is truly vegan (though let them know you are vegan just to confirm).
