Just fantastic

Note: Baha is actually the name of the kitchen inside The Rainbow pub on the corner of the row of shops.

Absolutely stunning interior, great music, and the food did not disappoint. Definitely on the greasy side, but a real treat for vegans looking for pub/american food. Also one of the only places in the country to get a vegan fish n chips!

Pros: Atmosphere , Decoration, Great menu

Cons: Not a very convenient location

Great vibe

Appreciated the entirely vegan menu. I got the Garlic Chicken Sub, and my friend got the Mac n Cheese and the Garlic Wings - everything was delicious! There was also a wide range of drink options, and a cool outdoor seating area. Will definitely be going back.

Pros: Extensive menu , Tasty food, Friendly staff

Great burgers

Located inside of the pub “The Rainbow”.
The noise level is a bit high, but the food definitely compensates for it.

Great Food

Food was really nice in a good location but unfortunately, the music in the pub was so loud, that we could only really talk in between songs.

What a meal

I loved everything,

Server was great fun and informative. The food was amazing, we had wing wednesday and a chicken and parm sub and a desert. Wow mmmmmm.

We went at a quieter time so that may be a factor

Great Vegan Street Food in Brum! 🍔

Being completely vegan, BA-HA just gets it, total safe place for vegan foodies to focus on the experience. An option for a salad or some raw veggies would make this place a 5 star - other than that the place is friendly and perfect.

Pros: The banoffee cheesecake was a very lush treat! , Crispy-ness of the shroom wings was lovely , Nostalgic mac & che*se

Cons: Wings were quite oily, couldn’t finish

Top tier

Had the no beef brisket, the banana blossom fish and chips and a side of mac n cheese. All were great - the banana blossom was surprisingly fish-like, really flaky texture. Lot of flavour in the brisket with lovely roasties. Would recommend here!

WOWWW

This place is basically in the rainbow pub. The pub itself is cool, we arrived at like 2/2:30pm on a Sunday and had the roast with two different “meats” (oyster mushroom and lentil loaf). We were suuuuuper happy about the portion sizes and the food was delicious! You could tell it wasn’t half arsed. They meant business lol. The carrots were even delicious! (Other places just boil them that is it). Would love to come back again. The music when we walked in was shockingly loud (and I’m someone who cranks up the volume at my place of work hahah but I couldn’t hear the bar man talking to me) so neurodivergent people be aware. But the DJ actually switched the tunes up to really great 80s bangers which I enjoyed.

Great grub!

Really impressed with how conscientious they were with gluten free options. Very tasty food. The prices and wait are worth it - quality ingredients and well cooked food so be patient folks! 💚

Pros: Gluten free options , Funky interior of pub, Friendly staff

Nice but expensive

My first choice option was not available so I went for something else. It was nice but felt like a small portion

Great food as always

We’ve been to BAHA a few times now and we’re never disappointed. The brisket sub was like a Sunday dinner on a baguette. We ordered all of the starters apart from the hummus and they were all excellent too, especially the spicy wings.

Disappointed

I have been wanting to visit this place for some time and I’m so gutted it didn’t live up to the hype. We waited 52 minutes for a baguette and chips and the baguette really lacked any sort of flavour.

Unexpectedly underwhelmed.

Don’t be mistaken if think you’ve entered the wrong place. It is a traditional pub you are looking for.
Multiple times we were told ‘just so you know, it’s all vegan’ which I can imagine they get lots of people who want traditional pub food.
We went on a day when it was a match day. But we went went the match was playing so it was relatively quiet yet it took nearly an hour for them to do 2 baguettes which seemed like the pre baked kind with some sauce, bit of cheese and hardly any chicken. And a small pot of mac and cheese which was the highlight.
When we ordered everyone was at the match so it was quiet, by the time we waited for an hour the football had finished so the place was packed with people bumping in to the table and we rushed to leave.

If I could. It would be 1 star.

Cons: Took too long. , Don’t got on a match day. , Overpriced.

Loud and food was not good

Went Sunday in the evening, I thought it was a restaurant but it was more like a bar. People were screaming and talking loud, as well as the music.
Ordered the bish and chips but the fish was very oily, no taste. The chips were ok. There was a sauce that I could not identify what it was but it wasn’t the mayo that was on the menu. And the smash peas that was tasteless.

Brilliant Roast dinner.

Had an amazing Kentucky-themed chicken roast with mash, roast pots, kale, carrots, red cabbage & what I think was meant to be a Yorkshire pudding. Would 5 got ⭐️ but could have done with roasties and gravy.

Pros: Veg, Mash , Stuffing.

Cons: Lack of gravy , Lack of roast pots , Cold Yorkshire.

Go for the Sunday roast

After visiting a couple of times previously, we went in for the Sunday roast. It was banging. A proper roast dinner, just vegan. A filling portion that tasted absolutely amazing- I had the jack mcguinness and it was so rich and had a wonderful texture, along with proper roasties, stuffing, mash, and a fair bit of veg too. Already excited to go for another Sunday visit.

Pros: Good value, Great taste, Friendly and welcoming

The best vegan wings

I love the food here, the vegan mac and cheese is some of the best I've ever had, and the "wings" which I had Korean bbq flavour for are literally some of the best things I've ever eaten. I definitely reccomend. The pub has a great ambience and they're super friendly there, I managed to loose my purse here before and they were super helpful in finding and returning it to me :)

Ba-ha at cuban embassy is BOMB

Went to try the new menu at the cuban embassy in Moseley and it was SO good! Haven’t had Mexican street corn since going vegan so was extremely pleased to see (and eat) it, cheese on nachos was divine, birria tacos were insane, and tres leches cake was incredible. Will definitely go back! Dogs allowed outside only but weather was nice so no complaints

Amazing

Been here multiple times now, and this is the best Sunday roast I’ve had.

The main menu is also incredible, and there is always something for everyone.

Will keep coming back here again and again.
