Fab vegan cakes! - Edit
Loads of vegan cake options. The cinnamon buns and blueberry bakewell are standouts for me. They often bring in new cake flavours too so that's great!
Read moreThe vegan mains could do with some more work I think. Almost always they have sold out of the vegan salad box (why don't they make more!?!?) and have a single vegan toastie which could be nice-but-simple (vegan meatball) or bizarre and dreadful (current option is kimchi and vegan mozzarella????).
The cafe itself is very poorly laid out - I always seem to get in everyone's way while waiting for my coffee, and I've never seen anyone else find a good solution to this either.
But there's a lot of nice seating outside, and the vegan cake range is so extensive and delicious it's definitely worth checking out.

Amazing cakes - Edit
Lots of options for sweet treats! They only had one toastie option though and it was a bit rogue, a thai curry flavour, however they often change around their hot food and make sure there is at least one vegan option.

Slow service, needs more vegan pastries - Edit
Some decent sandwiches, they sell out relatively quickly as only make one vegan type a day. Good rotation on the fillings.
Read moreGot a decent selection of vegan cake, about 30% of their offerings.
The cakes have no barrier to the public so can easily be coughed on.
They have very slow coffee service and there never seems to be a sensible place to stand

Tasty pastries - Edit
Great little place. Only been here for pastries and coffee so can't comment on the lunch menu.
Read moreGood selection of vegan options clearly labelled. Deli usually includes a vegan savoury roll, cakes and sweet pastries such as an almond croissant and cinnamon roll. Vegan milks available for hot drinks.
Pricing feels a little high, with a chai latte at £3.90 served in a disposable cup for indoor seating. Two croissants came to £6.50. But I guess you're paying for handmade produce! Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Cons: Tad expensive

Incredible cakes! - Edit
Bakehouse has some of the BEST cake in Bristol. It's located just after the end of the cycle track - a great spot to refuel! They always have vegan options and these are well labelled.
Read moreThey also always have a lunch menu and savoury choices (toasties etc) and a lunch deal. I had a salad bowl including spicy tofu and roasted broccoli. It tasted really lovely and fresh!
