Delicious and unusual food in a special setting - Edit
This was an interesting place to go to. Predominantly Burmese people have stalls selling local specialities so I didn't expect to find much to eat but I was pleasantly surprised at the array of goodies available. There were sourdough loaves, and another vegan bakery stall with a chocolate fudge cake, brownie & granola bar. Also, the most incredible noodles served in a lotus leaf! Fruit drinks and coffee were plentiful. Additionally, I found a Burmese woman selling traditional desserts - the sago pudding with salted caramel coconut sauce was 100% dairy-free and incredibly creamy and delicious. There is also a stall full of cruelty-free natural skincare products, mosquito repellant, massage oils etc all made with locally sourced products. Also bought some kombucha - so good! Shoppers are advised to bring their own bags; there are no plastics, and you can borrow crockery and cutlery to eat anything you've bought and then you wash up your plates! All in all, it's a totally cool set up!
