Veg Sando, Yummy and Good Deal - Edit
You'll be hard-pressed to find a vegan lunch sandwich that comes with sides. I had the tasty Veg Sando with sweet potato fries. I'm almost 6 feet tall with a medium build, and this lunch filled me up. I could have, should have had the second half of my sandwich for dinner.

The staff was attentive and friendly, and they took the time to answer any questions I had.
I do like my fries crispier, but my wife thought they were just right. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised by the nice helping of fries and it was more than enough.

Asked to add tofu to the burrito, which they list as Available Vegan. Was told that they can move the egg and sub vegan cheese but would not add tofu.
No clue why not, but at the end of the day, their call as it was mine to just politely leave.
While the online, and printed menu, do not appear to have many vegan choices, most of the menu can be made vegan upon request!
Had the Farmers Plate made vegan and it was outstanding.
Service was flawless and space is super cute.

It had some vegan choices, but kinda small servings for the vegan choices. No substitute for dairy and meat options on your order.

Best vegan Benedict - Edit
I finally had a chance to try Banter for vegan restaurant week because everyone was raving about their vegan Benedict special. It was absolutely delicious! The poached egg was definitely the best I’ve had and the flavors were excellent. Loved the mushrooms on it. I wish they would add this to their everyday menu- I’m sure they would be more popular among the vegan crowd in Bellingham. They also have a vegetarian bfast burrito on their regular menu that I heard could be made vegan, along with a few other items.

My partner and I found this amazing little gem in Bellingham. It surpassed our expectations. We really enjoyed the crispy tofu as an appetizer, and the Miso Soba Noodles without eggs. We are definitely coming back to try more from their menu.

Modern cocktail spot - Edit
Really cute, modern cocktail spot that is the sister store to BANTER (a coffee shop down the street). Most of the plates are vegetarian and about half are vegan. We enjoyed the All Time Bowl and impossible burger.
