Serves meat, vegan options available. Opening season begins in May. Casual dining restaurant with a large patio. Atypical Cape Cod restaurant but there is a vegetarian section on the menu and dishes that can be made vegetarian or vegan. The vegetarian section has a veggie burger, teriyaki baked tofu, and roasted veggie lasagna. There are Thai vegetarian spring rolls in the appetizer section, and sides including braised greens, roasted sweet and spicy beets, roasted sweet or new potatoes, brown basmati rice, and house-made bread. The staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-1:00am.

Worst experience in p town! - Edit
I have never left a one-star review before but I'm pretty angry. First of all they don't have any vegan options the Beyond Burger comes on a brioche which is not vegan. They had other lunch specials with sliced multigrain bread. I asked if they had any other bread to put on the Beyond Burger they said no. But they do have multigrain bread for other sandwiches. So I said may I have some of that bread please they said no we can't do that. How can they not grab two slices of multigrain bread that they serve anyway and throw it on the plate with the Beyond Burger? There was a tofu dish but it's only served at night time they made it very difficult for me to have any type of lunch there they were not accommodating at all and kind of rolled my their eyes at me I'm not demanding and fairly laid back all I asked was for some multigrain bread that was already being served as a sandwich on the same lunch menu and they refuse to do that so I don't suggest that anybody go and support this place they are very rude and can't do a simple request of two pieces of bread that are already on the menu terrible place terrible menu terrible staff stay away that's all I can say

Great teriyaki tofu - Edit
Bubala’s offers a very tasty teriyaki tofu salad. Not much else, but kudos to them to cook with tofu instead of easier processed vegan meats. Service is good. Low key atmosphere.

Happily surprised! - Edit
Ordered their one fully vegan meal and it was excellent! The staff tried to work with us on some appetizer options. I would recommend to a vegan who is sharing a night out with non-vegan seafood lovers.

Fun food, street scene - Edit
Bubula's has a good vibe and a few vegan options, plus some vegetarian. The baked teriyaki tofu is surprisingly delicious. Delightful drinks and friendly service. It's mostly the atmosphere that makes this a place to which I happily return every summer.

Over priced and over cooked - Edit
The one vegan entree, baked tofu, was alright. The tofu was good but the veggies were way over cooked and under seasoned. It would have been alright if it were 1/2 the price.

Very accommodating - Edit
Great outdoor seating and the workers were knowledgable of the menu and were willing to ask the kitchen questions for me. The baked tofu (with potatoes - the rice is not vegan) was delicious. Other items were also able to be veganized.

Very good options - Edit
Lots of outdoor seating with beautiful ambience. Very dog friendly. More vegetarian options then most of the surrounding sit-down restaurants.

Good late-night option for vegans - Edit
As most vegan visitors to P-town should know, many (but not all) restaurants have 1-2 vegan options, but most not more than that.
Read moreBubala's is one of the few late-night dining options which has a vegan option (the Bubala's Baked Tofu, which I uploaded picture of) that is good, tasty with both greens & protein. I believe they're open until 1am on weekends in summer.
I also ate there last year (same entree I think, but also the Vegetarian Thai Spring Rolls) and FYI, my non-vegan friends loved their food.
However, I remember maybe 4-5 years ago checking their menu & there was nothing vegetarian then, but they have 3 veg entrees now, one which is definitely vegan (not sure about their veggie burger), one which is not (cowcheese lasagna). This place, like much if Ptown, seems to be gradually getting more veg- and vegan-friendly. :)
Pros: 1 good vegan entree, open late night, good cocktails
Cons: few vegan options (like most Ptown restaurants)

This is an awful choice for vegetarians. Don’t bother. No options - Edit
Don’t bother. They have a salad and a generic frozen burger. They once had a couple fair options but no longer even have those.
