Love the vibe - Edit
Really cute place, we're here on a beautifully sunny winter's day with a sea breeze. Sitting outside in the sun and it's wonderfully peaceful and the food is absolutely delicious. Plenty of vegan options to choose from😄this is not our first time here, and it won't be our last!

I tried the cold brew and the sesame tofu salad - it was really fresh and tasty, light but filling. I’d go again to try other options. Vegan options are well marked on the menu and there are some in the cabinet too.

I've been eager to eat at the Byron Bay General Store for ages, but every time I go, they seem to be packed out!

I ordered the smashed avocado on GF bread and a chai tea (my 'usual').
The service was friendly, the food and drink were good, and it was a pleasant experience overall.

Family of four, all of us delighted with our meals. Hubby had the Royal Burger, best burger in years! I had Truffle Mushrooms on Toast, absolutely delicious! (And mushrooms aren’t usually my choice). Kids had buckwheat waffles and fries. Also the best coffee (Marvell Street Roasters), ask for a batch brew.

So good! Love that almost everything is vegan and so many tasty options. Cool place to grab great coffee and smoothies and a bite to eat in the morning. It’s busy - but for good reason! Chilli tofu scramble and the smoky beans are 👌👌👌

Our dogs bought me a voucher for Christmas so we went to have lunch one day, it was so great we went back for breakfast 2 days later. Truffle Mushroom Toast, Gado Gado, Royal Burger, Potato Cake, Boston Beans. Always busy, we found 8:30am midweek was a good time to visit but it was January, school holidays and summer. We were thrilled to see people out and supporting local businesses so we didn’t care. #Veganuary

Great menu full of tasty, well constructed vegan options. Food envy is the norm here. Servings are large enough to share. This is a really busy, noisy place popular with tourists & local. There’s a good reason for this popularity - it’s a great place!

What a difference going largely vegan makes. In the last year this place has changed to a menu that is vegan "unless marked otherwise", with the otherwise being local eggs, a haloumi burger and milk for coffee. And the coffee is really among the best in Byron. A huge range of single-menu delicate breakfast-lunch food with the mushroom truffle toast being just superb. I've had it every day for a week. The vegan burrito is a great lunch. The staff are warm and although it is often packed, the place has a serenity. Lots of tables around the porch, although the increasing popularity means getting a table for four is hot and miss, especially at lunch time. Love this place..

I actually had no idea this place is full vego till I went to leave a review. I’m here at least a couple of times/month. It’s unpretentious, laidback cafe. Food is 10/10. Vegan waffle chips, vegan burrito, vegan poke bowl, smoothies, burgers. All absolute winners. Def in top 10 joints for a good vego meal in Byron

My vegan burger was okay - nice bun and fresh ingredients but totally lacking in flavour and way too oily. What was really disappointing was the service. The staff served their friends before us, even though we were next in line, and then proceeded to have a lengthy chat while we waited. We almost left at that point but decided to stay as we had lugged 2 hungry kids there. Service was slow and kids meals came out last. We won’t be back.
