Upscale vibe with vegan options - Edit
We were running late and decided to give Cafe Lusso a try as it was the only place nearby--it was pleasant. The service, the interior and the vibe are decidedly upscale--this is not the hole-in-the-walls vegans become accustomed to eating in while visiting Mexico. There were multiple waiters taking care of us throughout the meal, all of them delightful but definitely formal, with each course coordinated and presented including descriptions of the food and new utensils. The selection of vegan food was international and creative but simple, including vegan bread, vegan carpaccio, spicy vegan ramen, and an exceptional vegan dessert cake. It was a pleasant experience and the staff and service made it memorable and comforting!
