Read moreI had a very disappointing experience here. Upon arrival, I was greeted by someone at the counter who came across as off-putting and disengaged.
There were no clearly marked vegan options on the menu at the counter, and only a few vegetarian items. I asked whether they still offered vegan French toast, and the staff member appeared confused and surprised by the question. She responded, “I don’t think we do that,” then took the menu from me and vaguely suggested an avocado dish instead.
The larger posted menu at the entrance says to “ask about our vegan options,” so I asked what those options are. She said she didn’t know and that “what we have is what’s on the menu,” despite not being familiar with it. She also seemed irritated that I was asking about something they themselves prompt customers to ask about.
A lack of knowledge is one issue, but the unwillingness to engage, clarify, or even show basic curiosity about their own menu made this a frustrating experience. Based on that, I would not return.

They have a dedicated vegan menu, which is great. However, the Panini was a very small portion, though was the best of the items we had. The oatmeal was simply unseasoned wet oats with a few pieces of fruit on top, and the French toast was unseasoned, cooked to a crisp, had minimal flavor and included a side of high fructose corn syrup maple syrup. We really wanted to enjoy this place but didn’t find the food very tasty.

The Vegan Breakfast and Lunch Menu is really good! - Edit
We stopped at Cake’s Cafe for a late brunch / early lunch, which we found on @happycow. This cafe in Santa Fe’s historic district has a vegan menu with several options, including a delicious Veggie Panini and an AMAZING vegan French toast! Plus, “Cake” (the owner) was very friendly and accommodating, and the place was very charming. We recommend you check out Cake’s Cafe when you are in town!

Cool artsy cafe and performance center a few blocks off of the plaza. The panini was delicious. We will return and plow through the entire list.
