Quaint little restaurant with excellent food. - Edit
The spicy noodles I had at Camouflage last week was easily the best meal I have had in Seoul. This is a quaint and quiet little restaurant serving up some excellent vegan food. The portions are hearty. The food is clean and tasty.

Vegan comfort food - Edit
What an absolute treat. We ordered too much and had to have some as takeaway, but it was all incredibly tasty. Highly recommend the Kung Pow Chicken, or Orange Chicken. The owner is really nice, he cooked our entire vegan feast on his own and it didn’t take long at all. Our first meal in Seoul is one to be remembered!

So good and staff are lovely 🥹✨ - Edit
The food it’s so good and the portions are massive! It’s great that it stays open later than the other vegan restaurants as that’s usually an issue to have to rush for food before 8pm- but not here thankfully! If in Itaewon would highly recommend! Staff and owner are lovely also, thank you for your kindness 🤗

Vegan in Itaewon - Edit
Found this place and wanted to try as vegan places in Seoul aren't easy to come across. I opted for the popcorn chicken and my wife got spicy udon noodles. Both dishes were excellent. Also the size was big! Friendly staff too. We highly recommend

My non-veg husband loved the “chicken” - Edit
We ordered the vegan chicken and my husband (meat eater) admitted it was the best fried chicken he ever had in Korea. This alone should tell you how great this place is! The noodles dishes are also super tasty.

Lovely and cozy restaurant in Itaewon - Edit
I really loved this restaurant, easily one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Seoul. The staff was very friendly. The menu was very simple yet satisfying. The vegan ”chicken” was delicious, I really liked the orange and teriyaki ones! The highball drinks were good too!

The BEST vegan restaurant in seoul! - Edit
Camouflage was amazing! The sweet owner was one of the kindest people I've ever met. You could really tell how lovingly decorated and well cared for his restaurant is. We received so many recommendations and saw so many trendy plant-based spots in seoul, but this cozy and delicious spot made our whole trip. Portion sizes are very generous, flavor is delicious, and the beautiful atmosphere was so nice! Even if it's out of your way, you have to put Camouflage on the very top of your list!

What a hidden gem this is! - Edit
You could easily walk right past if not paying attention but for those who are after an authentically amazing taste sensation this is your destination🥳
Read moreThe must have dish is the Orange Chicken - you will not believe its vegan chicken 🤗 sooo delicious the texture in the skin is nothing i have had in the past 8 years of being vegan.
We also tried the Shanghai Pasta, again another outstanding dish with taste tied right back to authentic Shanghainese flavours.
Our third dish was the fried rice which was an excellent addition to balance out the flavours and accompanying the other two dishes!
We came here around 2:30pm and everything was handled by one person, greeting us warmly setting up our table, taking the order, cooking and serving how he did this so efficiently was a huge credit in itself🙏🏽
Thank you for providing a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere excellent service with delicious and beautiful food !!
As you can probably guess highly recommend 🎉

Delicious food in Itaewon - Edit
This spot is great. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere has a warm vibe. We ordered a set menu with Kung Pao chicken and noodles, along with tofu with “carne,” and everything was excellent. The chicken, in particular, was phenomenal, definitely worth the visit on its own. They also serve great kombucha; we tried the ginger and lemon flavors. The owner is kind and welcoming. He doesn’t speak much English, so if you have specific questions, it’s helpful to have a translator ready. Overall, I’d definitely call this a hidden gem in Itaewon, both figuratively and literally, as the entrance is on the ground floor, but you’ll need to head up to the second floor to find the restaurant.

ONE OF THE BEST IN SEOUL - Edit
Our third time coming here and still loving the place. The owner is very sweet and the food is awesome. The place is located a few blocks from the main avenue in itaewon; still very calm. The place is at a second floor and beautifully decorated. Highly recommended this place to vegan and non-vegan people. The best vegan fried chicken I’ve tried in my life!

Yummy Chinese fusion vegan food - Edit
I ordered the peanut stir fry and the chilli shrimp and it was so yum! The food was very filling, so I'll have to try the kungpao chicken another time...looks delicious. The vibe is so chill and love the photos of cats decorated throughout the restaurant. Very cute

Very acceptable American style Chinese food - Edit
Food was yum; cute little place. Find it upstairs through a tiny old staircase. My favorite was the tomato noodle soup. Kungpao chicken and orange chicken were good; veg and tofu was decent; fried dumplings and spring roll were fairly mid. Virgin mojito is available, too.

Really great vegan restaurant! - Edit
I really loved this restaurant, it looks great inside and had great food. Would be a great date spot if I lived in Seoul.
Read moreThe shanghai noodles were delicious and a great portion size, and the spring rolls were super tasty too. They have a vegan cola brand I hadn’t seen before but cola is cola so it didn’t bother mez
There wasn’t any other people at the time I went so food was pretty quick to arrive. I can confirm it’s fine to go as a solo traveller. I mentioned to do all the ordering/talking with staff in Korean so not sure if they speak english here.
It makes me wish I’d spent more time in Itaewon instead of Insa!
Pros: Pretty much everything

Super delicious, but huge quantities. - Edit
The fried chicken has a super intense and delicious flavor, but the portion is enormous! You can't see it in the photos, but it really is huge. Order a dish for two people, and you'll still have leftovers. I wish they would serve the fried chicken mixed with rice or something similar so it wouldn't be so heavy. The pasta with pesti and broccoli was delicious!

Great vegan options - Edit
After a long journey, we were looking for a place to eat vegan food. This restaurant was still open! We had the spicy noodles in tomato soup and the spicy peanut noodles. Both were fine, though the peanut noodles were our favorite.
Read moreThe spring rolls were a bit disappointing, as they had hardly any filling.
Still, it’s a nice place to sit , so we’d recommend it!

Camouflage - Edit
Ordered orange chicken and chow mein to go. Both recreated the Westernised Chinese takeout flavour well so they were a bit on the oilier/more indulgent side. Still delicious though. Did find that some of the orange chik'n pieces had more batter than mock meat. Price reflects portions and they don't skimp on the portion sizes!
Read moreMy verdict: 4/5. Would return again to try other options on the menu but maybe as a treat only!
Pros: Staff spoke English well, Recreated Chinese takeout flavour - nostalgic tbh!, Nice ambience
Cons: Some chik'n pieces more batter than "meat"

Could've been 5 stars - Edit
I don't know if anyone else would consider this a negative but the main portions are absolutely huge. I wish the waiter would've said we ordered too much for 2 people so we ended up with a lot of left overs. The only other negative was that the teriyaki chicken lacked any sauce or strong flavour of teriyaki so just tasted like fried chicken. The Kung pao had a great taste, and the chow mein and spring rolls too. If 2 people, I would recommend 1 main, and 1 or 2 smaller sides which would be plenty!

One of the best vegan chicken in Seoul. The spice on the pasta were a bit too strong so we couldnt taste the peanut butter enough. The restaurant was really cute, would recommand for a date night 😊

BEST VEGAN CHICKEN EVER!!! - Edit
The absolute best vegan chicken alternative ever! Do not miss this one! Cute neighbourhood to stroll through, quiet location on the 2nd floor off the street, Naver maps takes you directly to the entrance just look for the sign. Friendly staff, super quick service, could not recommend it highly enough! It is so hard to find good vegan Chinese food and this place knocked it out of the park!!!
