A few good vegan options - Edit
Casa Curandera sits in a secluded spot in the jungle at the end of a long path, and their agua frescas and oat milk drink are welcome refreshment upon arrival. The food is good, though we couldn’t say the value matches the price compared with the fine vegan spots nearby.

hidden gem - Edit
tucked away in the forest, you are so immersed in the jungle! feels like your eating in your grandmas kitchen, as the food is all prepared within eye sight . staff is super friendly and kind, only downside is the mosquitos (since this is outside) but it is all apart of the experience! loved the trek here and being one with the jungle while eating some amazing food😄mostly everything is vegan!! DELICIOUS!! must try if you are up for something unique, cool jungle vibes, have fun:)

Best vegan / vegetarian meals in Bali! - Edit
We loved our lunch at Casa Curandera so much that w came back another 2 times during our 5 days in Ubud! And each time the food and service were fantastic! It’s off the beaten track, which we loved and by a river in the jungle. Definitely worth the trek for some local authenticity ! Can’t recommend enough

Food cooked fresh - Edit
Wow this place was amazing. The setting, design of the menu. Yes they are a little pricey, though thats what you pay for when going somewhere nice. Food is made fresh right behind you so be patient. Its like a little hidden gem and there is a nice walk down to the river as well. Never had vegan ravioli before, it was soooo good! Don't be cheap bastards.

Hit and miss - Edit
Beautiful restaurant located at the very end of a path deep in the jungle.
Read moreThe jackfruit tacos and arepas are pretty good, however I would not recommend the vegan burrata bowl. The burrata itself doesn't taste like much and the bowl is mostly full of leaves and so salty it was almost inedible.
Probably one of the most expensive vegetarian restaurant in Ubud.

not worth it - Edit
I've heard good things from others, so I finally went in for a try.
Read moreIt's definitely a hidden spot - I don't mean difficult to find, but there's no car access along that road, and then you walk down some steps.
The staff were helpful/friendly, atmosphere comfortable... but after spending ~1 million, it was absolutely not worth it.
The gnocchi was too floury and stiff, the arepa was stodgy and greasy, and even the bread on the side had an interesting combination of stale overcooked.
Soup itself was fine.
Hot choccy was sour, taste did not improve with more syrup.
I have no idea why this place is hyped, if that's the quality I'm receiving.
