Pricey chocolates - Edit
This place sells all vegan chocolates. I tried 4 of their chocolate bonbons--all were delicious. These are not cheap; each tiny bonbon cost $3. But if you are willing to wink at the $$$, then an all-vegan chocolatier like this is a rare find. If you are on a budget, however (and who isn't?).....

They all have sugar - Edit
Wish I could give more stars. The chocolatier working there was so nice to talk to and he said he could also make chocolates with sugar alternatives but it’s not all up to him. So stars for his professionalism and for the cuteness of the little place and for the selection that the had but I couldn’t eat any. I hear they were good.

Professional, amazing chocolates - Edit
I got a box of 12 chocolates and every single one was amazing. The chef was working the counter and he was a lovely person who talked with us for a while about his approach to vegan chocolate making. I’m pretty picky about vegan desserts. Vegan chocolatiers have been a letdown many times for me in the past, oftentimes the texture isn’t right or there is a strong coconut flavor that overpowers everything. There was nothing like that at this place. You would never know these chocolates were vegan at all. The owner is a traditionally trained chocolatier who later began making plant based chocolate. The flavors are creative and delicious. From the passion fruit caramel to the yuzu sesame white chocolate bar, everything was incredible. I highly recommend everyone stop by.

Chocolate Perfection - Edit
on my first visit, the head chocolatier was working and described upcoming flavor combinations. Though he was working, he was engaged and open to discussing his process. The finished products that I was lucky enough to sample were all amazing. I bought a variety, including lemon curd, red wine-himalayan pink salt, chagaccino, lemon-olive oil, marzipan, and miso-toasted sesame powder. Vegan sweets have fully come into their own and can run the gamut from pedestrian and hyper junky to elevated and refined and there is room for all of them. With Casse-Cou, you get the latter and the vegan community, and ultimately all animals—human and non-human, benefit from it.
