Flawless mezze and baklava - Edit
Their mezze platter was one of the best I’ve ever had — from the hummus to the pickles and cauliflower, everything was made to perfection. I also loved how the pita was really thin and light!

Amazing, don't miss it. - Edit
We had a large Mizze for two, incl. the Tahini dip, Hummus, pickled cauliflower and more. We also had the Cheder tea, a rose lemonade and Fanjan coffee.
Read moreEverything tasted amazing - even my girlfriend who doesn't normally drink coffee liked it.
The atmosphere was quiet and contemplative. With a beautiful collection of books on Jewish history, religion and custom in multiple languages, it feels like you're totally immersed in a different culture.
Please do yourself a favor and visit this amazing place.

Touring the Jewish quarter - Edit
A little Jewish cafe in the Jewish quarter serving mezze meals. We ordered their medium meze which was great for two. Lots of vegan options. The dishes were very flavourful, in some cases a bit overpowering as I wasn’t expecting it but enjoyable

Calm corner in Kazimierz - Edit
Cheder is a relaxed café with Israeli specialities amidst the busy old Jewish quarters. The place is cosily decorated, and invites reading a book. The hummus with pita (and sumak, etc) and tea were tasty.

Tasty food and relaxed atmosphere - Edit
Nice choice of vegetarian and vegan mezze. Wide choice of drinks, including coffee, tea, herbal tea, juice and wine. My friend had the mulled wine and I had the warm fresh orange juice with cinnamon.

Super nice ambience - Edit
I went to "have a tee" with a friend, without knowing this was a vegetarian place. They have a nice menu, vegan cake! This time I've tried a rose lemonade (without honey).
Read moreMost of the drinks can be made vegan, they have almond and soy milk, and others that are with honey you can just ask without... It was super tasty!

Cozy and calm place in a busy neighborhood - Edit
Nice and calm Cafe in a very busy area of the town. Never had food there, only the coffee but that alone is worth the visit. We always get the traditional pot with cardamom. Be aware that it takes a little to make, so dont expect that to be done in three minutes! Sit down and enjoy the coffee experience!

If you are interested in Jewish history, you will find plenty of books that you can go through.

Nice place to relax - Edit
This is a very chilled out place in the centre of the Jewish quarter. We got the hummus bowl which was good, although I was expecting perhaps some interesting type of pitta bread but just got the standard lavash style flatbread which is ok but nothing special.
Read moreThe Israeli wines on the other hand are quite interesting. If you prefer slightly sweeter red wines there is at least one option here which is very drinkable.

It's quite a large place, good for meeting for a coffee, working on your laptop or reading a book. I wouldn't come here primarily for food though, the only option is really houmous. I enjoyed the houmous though, nice sized portion. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Tea & tunes - Edit
Didn't actually eat here, but stopped off for cup of tea (hot or iced, many interesting varieties of tea, coffee, tisane) and a sit down. Browsed books on Jewish history, listened to music. Very nice atmosphere.

Good food, exotic coffee - Edit
The toasted sandwich I had was quite tasty, but it could have had more filling. The Israeli coffee was quite delicious. I've never had anything quite like it, and even a small pot will go a long way. The choice of music is a bit loud for studying or reading, but it's a good place to chill with a friend or just get out of the sun for a bit.
