Cosy and with great food

Came here to avoid all the busyness of the Christmas markets and the atmosphere was perfect to sit down with some tea and eat amazing food.

Most interesting tea of my life

The Cheder tea was the perfect autumn drink and the mezze was spectacular. The tomato dip is a must.

Flawless mezze and baklava

Their mezze platter was one of the best I’ve ever had — from the hummus to the pickles and cauliflower, everything was made to perfection. I also loved how the pita was really thin and light!

The real star was the rose flavored baklava. It was SUCH a delight to enjoy.

Amazing, don't miss it.

We had a large Mizze for two, incl. the Tahini dip, Hummus, pickled cauliflower and more. We also had the Cheder tea, a rose lemonade and Fanjan coffee.
Everything tasted amazing - even my girlfriend who doesn't normally drink coffee liked it.
The atmosphere was quiet and contemplative. With a beautiful collection of books on Jewish history, religion and custom in multiple languages, it feels like you're totally immersed in a different culture.
Please do yourself a favor and visit this amazing place.

Touring the Jewish quarter

A little Jewish cafe in the Jewish quarter serving mezze meals. We ordered their medium meze which was great for two. Lots of vegan options. The dishes were very flavourful, in some cases a bit overpowering as I wasn’t expecting it but enjoyable

Calm corner in Kazimierz

Cheder is a relaxed café with Israeli specialities amidst the busy old Jewish quarters. The place is cosily decorated, and invites reading a book. The hummus with pita (and sumak, etc) and tea were tasty.

Pros: Atmosphere , (Middle Eastern) dishes to share, Tea

Cons: Extra charge for oat milk

Well prepared, clean design and ale.

It's such a relief to go to a place with plenty of vegan options and no killed animals served.

Veggies were cooked amazingly - sweet and delicate. Balanced tastes. They know the need in variety of structures, textures, colors and temperature. A non-alko mangoAle was a bonus as well as the garden.

Tasty food and relaxed atmosphere

Nice choice of vegetarian and vegan mezze. Wide choice of drinks, including coffee, tea, herbal tea, juice and wine. My friend had the mulled wine and I had the warm fresh orange juice with cinnamon.

Super nice ambience

I went to "have a tee" with a friend, without knowing this was a vegetarian place. They have a nice menu, vegan cake! This time I've tried a rose lemonade (without honey).
Most of the drinks can be made vegan, they have almond and soy milk, and others that are with honey you can just ask without... It was super tasty!
The ambience is very good vibe!

Pros: Ambience, Taste, Friendly

Cozy and calm place in a busy neighborhood

Nice and calm Cafe in a very busy area of the town. Never had food there, only the coffee but that alone is worth the visit. We always get the traditional pot with cardamom. Be aware that it takes a little to make, so dont expect that to be done in three minutes! Sit down and enjoy the coffee experience!

The menu has vegan food options so you will find something to eat!

If you are interested in Jewish history, you will find plenty of books that you can go through.

Amazing Vegan Meze!

Really relaxing atmosphere in the heart of the Kazimierz. The vegan mezze was delicious & the plant based latte was the best I've ever had.

Nice place to relax

This is a very chilled out place in the centre of the Jewish quarter. We got the hummus bowl which was good, although I was expecting perhaps some interesting type of pitta bread but just got the standard lavash style flatbread which is ok but nothing special.

The Israeli wines on the other hand are quite interesting. If you prefer slightly sweeter red wines there is at least one option here which is very drinkable.

Pros: Serves both hummus and alcohol, Relaxing calm place, nice decor

Amazing hummus bowls

If you love hummus and are in Krakow this place is a must! They serve different hummus bowls with the most delicous warm pita bread. They also have a meze menu so you can combine your own bowl.
This was the first time I tried Israelian food, and it will definitely not be the last!

Pros: Amazing hummus, Make your own bowl, Delicious warm pita bread

Nice place, limited food

It's quite a large place, good for meeting for a coffee, working on your laptop or reading a book. I wouldn't come here primarily for food though, the only option is really houmous. I enjoyed the houmous though, nice sized portion. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Pros: related atmosphere, Good for meeting

Cons: Not many food options

Tea & tunes

Didn't actually eat here, but stopped off for cup of tea (hot or iced, many interesting varieties of tea, coffee, tisane) and a sit down. Browsed books on Jewish history, listened to music. Very nice atmosphere.

Good food, exotic coffee

The toasted sandwich I had was quite tasty, but it could have had more filling. The Israeli coffee was quite delicious. I've never had anything quite like it, and even a small pot will go a long way. The choice of music is a bit loud for studying or reading, but it's a good place to chill with a friend or just get out of the sun for a bit.

Pros: Coffee, Food, Exotic

Cons: Noise, No garden

Community space with amazing hummus.

The hummus was spectacular, the tea was amazing, and the atmosphere couldn't have been better for a cold winter day in Krakow.

I recommend trying their seasonal hummus and the Moroccan mint tea. We came back twice because it was so good

Pros: hummus

quiet place, friendly people and good food for vegetarians

This Jewish restaurant is a mix between a livingroom, library and a restaurant.
Very quiet, not a overkill of music so you can talk with eachother. And of course the food: delicious.
Good wine from the hills of Judea.

Pros: vegetarian, quiet

Cons: not many menu options, but not really a disadvanta
