The pesto and tomato rolls are to die for! The cinnamon roll is also amazing and the muffins are great aswell. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and can speak English aswell.

I came to Coraje twice while I was in Medellin. They have delicious vegan pastries and foods that are easy to take to go. I had a long excursion one day and picked up the pesto/tomato pastry and a mushroom empanada the day prior. Just be mindful of their hours, they don’t open until 12pm so if you need something for breakfast get it the afternoon before. The second time I went I sat there to eat my meal. I got the pesto/tomato pastry again (not sure what it’s called) and a bocadillo - both incredibly delicious. And it’s located in an adorable, quiet alleyway. Highly recommend if you’re in El Poblado.

El lugar está ubicado en un callejón, justo al inicio hay una lavandería. El espacio es pequeño y las mesas están ubicadas afueras, un problema en los días lluviosos. Fuimos a probar su propuesta para el Vegan Food Fest, la cual consistía en un sándwich de tofu apanado y vegetales, y una torta de chocolate y frutos rojos. Ambos estaban muy ricos y balanceados en sabores, me gusta que el lugar tiene un concepto de comida equilibrada y saludable. También nos antojamos de un cheescake de frutos amarillos, su base era al parecer de avena y frutos secos. La atención fue rápida.

Im so happy i found this place in Medellín😄it is fully vegan and has a lot of gluten free options. It became my go to place if I want to have a sweet treat and good coffee😄I’ll also order cakes for my wedding here and already had the test tasting which was amazing. I Love that you don’t make their pastry too sweet and everything is really fresh and if high quality. The staff is lovely and really know about their products😄

Small portions and definitely pricier, as it’s in the boogie side of the city. They were also out of a lot of things, so we didn’t get to try too much.
Read moreThe arepas with smoked eggplant were incredible. We also enjoyed the buñuelo and the banana chocolate muffin. 🍆🌱👌 One of the arepas has an acidic avocado sauce though and I could not. The acidity was too strong. Our food also took a long time to arrive (about 35-45min) and when it finally did, the order was wrong so they had to remake it (another 20min). I’m still glad they did though and enjoyed so much the other arepas. Would come back to try other dishes.

Read moreI had the Muffin Banana Bun (5.000 COP), the Chocolate Marble Cake (5.000 COP) and the Brownie (7.000 COP). The Muffin and Marble Cake were tasty but the Brownie was dry and very disappointing. All in all I had expected a bit more.
UPDATE:
I went here for lunch and had the Sanduche Coraje (33.000 COP) and Jugo de frutos amarillos (8.000 COP). The Sanduche tasted amazing and I can fully recommend it. I'd be happy to go back here again.

We went as a quick stop after checking out and were pleasantly surprised with the selection of food.

We opted for a pesto roll, with French press coffee and a fresh yellow fruits juice. All of it was really nice, tasted really nice and wasn't too expensive.

Excellent variety of sweets but also some savoury food. The tacos are so good, a must try! Also the brownie and pandebono, yummy! Just the cinnamon roll didn't fully convince me.

When it comes to flavour and creativity as well as nicely arranged plates this is probably the best place in Medellin for vegan food. We were blown away by their pesto and cinnamon rolls which were incredibly fluffy but still not dry. We highly recommend going there!
