Friendly! Choices!

In addition to vegan cupcakes (2 flavors when I was there), they carry food from other local kitchens, too. They had some gorgeous salads and a vegan cheesecake (so good!) when I dropped in. The folks running the place are super friendly and helpful.

Favorite Spot for a sweet treat

They always have good cupcake flavors, sometimes they'll have lemon bars or cookies. Very limited selection of cocktails and hot drinks, but that's not what im there for anyway.

Pros: Excellent Quality

Cons: Limited Selection, Few Drinks

Ehh

I went around 10:30pm on a Friday and they didn't have any vegan options left. I'm a little flexible with this sort of thing so I tried a regular cupcake. I had the vanilla it was really stale and the frosting was really grainy. I didn't like it and for the price of $3 it seems kind of ridiculous.

Best Vegan Cupcakes in Des Moines

There are a few places in the DSM metro that sell vegan cupcakes, but Cremes are by far the best. They cost more than the other places, but in my opinion, it is worth the cost. I cannot tell they are vegan and they are light and fluffy. My favorite is when they have filling in them - such as the chocolate raspberry. Also - they sell out fast! They also have a vegan cookie - but the cupcake is superior.

Pretty tasty

Creme always has a vegan flavor on the menu, however it's typically your run of the mill chocolate or vanilla cake. Every time I've had one there, it's been well made and tasty, but I do with they'd branch out and try some new flavors. One time there was a non-cupcake vegan dessert on the menu that I'm sad to have missed.

Pros: Available daily, Nice staff, Wine available

Cons: Not many options
