typical grüße soße (green sauce) - Edit
Even though this restaurant is very traditional they are serving vegan green sauce. It was very good and authentic. The schnitzel they are offering are probably from Rügenwälder Mühle and it was very tasty. Fried Potato’s unfortunately are not vegan. Also they don’t have vegan desserts.
Read moreOther main dishes include vegan Feta, tomato soup and Chili sin Carne.
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: no vegan dessert

Fun way to try traditional German food - Edit
We chose this restaurant to try a vegan schnitzel and green sauce. We also got the vegan pasta dish as well as the chili sin Carne. The schnitzel had boiled potatoes and a salad on the side. The green sauce on the schnitzel was tasty. The pasta dish was also yummy. The chili was a little bit spicy and good.

Great atmosphere - Edit
I enjoyed their tasty food served under a tall tree. Birds chirping. I’d like to go there again.

Several vegan options - Edit
The menu clearly marks the vegan options and I was pleasantly surprised that there are quite a few! I had the vegan feta with Grüne Soße, and while I prefer the Grüne Soße from Eichkatzerl (everyone from Frankfurt can probably testify that hardly nothing can be discussed as thoroughly and passionately as the right way to make Grüne Soße 😉), the dish overall was really good! Great to see more and more traditional places adapt to vegan needs!

Very tasty vegan feta - Edit
The Frankfurter Schnitzel is good but nothing Special (I also prefer the Frankfurter Schnitzel from Eichkatzerl) but the fried vegan feta is absolutely delicious! Nice place to sit outside and drink some apfelwein

Wouldn't go there for vegan food - Edit
I wish to read the comments before going to the place. The vegan food indeed looks like it is 'out of the can' from supermarket (I had the chili sin carne, which wasn't worth 15 euro at all). The place itself though is really nice and authenticly german with amazing waitresses.

Average Interpretation of traditional frankfurt Food - Edit
It is good to See that more and more typical Frankfurt apfelweinkneipen include vegan Food on their menus but to be honest ist was rather average Here. My favourite Restaurant for vegan schnitzel with green Sauce Remains „zum eichkatzerl“
