Tofurkey, Field Roast, and Food Trucks Out Front - Edit
All the veggie dogs are vegan field roast or tofurkey dogs. If you like them, you’ll like these. No, they don’t have vegan cheese—if you’re craving a vegan cheesy savory option, just, walk a couple blocks to Veggie Grill or Piroshki on 3rd. The grilled veggies (cabbage, onions, peppers) are really good. They have a ton of vegan condiments available.
A note to tourists and suburbanites planning a trip:
If you’re at this location anyway, definitely check out the food trucks also if they’re parked out front, many have vegan options, one is even from Plum Bistro. This park also has frequent live music, free yoga, popup vendors, outdoor games, and is in the middle of a shopping mall. If you’re planning a trip to Seattle and you like the downtown vibe, put a pin here on the map and make Westlake the light rail station you get on/off at on your way to Pike Place Market.
I went here because of all good descriptions. The hot dog was okay, although I might never become the biggest fan of it. Anyway, I was disappointed, because I asked in the beginning if all or which of the vegetarian offers are vegan. I got the answer "all". Then I asked for a recommendation and took the spice Chipotle one. During preparation I saw on another sign that there is cream cheese in, so I asked if it's vegan cheese "no". When I told him that I've just asked if it is vegan and he said yes, he only mentioned that many are not really vegan and just eat it because of their "health". I got the hot dog without the cheese then and told him, he should answer correctly in the future. So annoying!
If you care about your food coming into contact with meat, might want to skip this place. They use the same tongs without cleaning for meat dogs and veggie ones - and they sometimes use the same grilling surface without cleaning for meat and veggie.
Nothing spectacular here but it does the job. Nice range of Tofurkey sausages on order, and they dress them up a bit with veggies. Its nice to get a selection of dog options, but otherwise, this is standard dog cart stuff and fairly pricey (4.75) for a standard veggie.
I'd give this place 5 cows if I could. The guy and girl who were running the place were both very helpful and friendly. I had the Italian dog which is a fairly spicy and delicious. Very simple but tasty toppings of marianated cabbage and onions.
Jealous that we don't have this in San Diego - Edit
Guy that runs the stand was super nice and helpful! Veggie dog was really good! Great place to get out of the rain and people watch. I really wish we had something like this in San Diego.

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Great location for lots of reasons., Savory, filling vegan lunch $10 in downtown.
Cons: It’s a hot dog stand that sells meat. Infer away.
