Great food - Edit
Food is delicious with lots of options. I've been to both the Evanston and the Chicago locations and the food was equally great. Both locations were clean and service was quick.

Great food, bit expensive. - Edit
The food was fantastic. I got Chicago Dogs and a banana berry smoothly, and both were fantastic. I would for sure go again. It was on the other hand a bit expensive, but I guess for good quality vegan food that is the price you pay. Worth it, but not for every day, at least not with my budget.😄

Fantastic - Edit
Located next to a Chipotle, this eatery should be your pick. We chose the Southwest Bowl and the Buffalo Rice Bowls with extra tofu. My husband liked the Buffalo sauce that was tasty with ripping his head off, and he liked the portion. My Southwest bowl with tofu was good, but it would have been bland if not for the kick-ass sauce (yes, my lips are still tingling which is a good thing for me!) We would come back in a heartbeat.

Variety of burger options - Edit
I've tried the bean burger, baja burger (impossible patty), and the SoCal wrap (sweet chili cauliflower). Good variety of flavors. My favorite was the baja burger! The bean burger was average. The sweet chili cauliflower tasted good even on day 2.

100% Vegan Burgers - Edit
100% Vegan Restaurant & delicious Burgers!
Read moreI have ordered the following items and will rate them with the help of my tastebuds and opinion!
My favorite burger was the „Korean BBQ Chik‘n Burger“ with added ranch. 5/5 - Soft, tasty, juicy burger buns and delicious chik‘n!
The second favorite burger was the Mammoth Burger! Also great taste! Both came with a side of fries.
The fries are regular fries. Fries: 3.5/5 in addition to the fries, I ordered sauces/dips: ranch dip: 5/5. Sriracha Aioli: 2.5/5 spicy and little to almost neutral taste.
Next burger in my personal ranking would be the Buffalo Chik‘n. I have been a vegan now for close to 4 years. I do however remember the tastes of food from before I was vegan. This here burger may not be my favorite because I never really was a buffalo fan I. The first place BUT! Very authentic and close to its original taste. Therefor, I can recommend this to the Buffalo lovers!
Last burger in my ratings is the „Eleburger“ the name made me curious, I ate it and it’s classic, standard, nothing out of the ordinary burger. 3.5/5. in my opinion, the mustard taste was slightly too dominant.
All in all, I will say that this is a great place to order from! I never visited the restaurant itself and only ordered and can therefore not speak on the actual restaurant itself.
It is however a wonderful experience, ordering from a 100% vegan restaurant, without having to ask about animal cruelty free ingredients. 100% plant based and I can and will recommend this Restaurants menu!
I have pictures, they may not look fantastic; but the taste sure was. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!
Take care! #Veganuary

Quick Bite - Edit
If you’re craving an old fashioned burger and milkshake type of vibe this is definitely the place to go! The cauliflower wrap was tasty and the milkshake was not my favorite, but I would certainly try a different flavor next time!

Great Addition to Downtown Evanston - Edit
Highly recommend going for the salads or wraps over the burgers (I just think they're better quality for the $). My favorite is the Southern Comfort bowl (that crispy tofu is fantastic) and the sauces are all great. Portions are a little small for the price but it's well located, fairly consistent, and much better than other quick vegan options in the vicinity.

I was craving something comforting and this hit the spot. The lemonade was fresh, the sandwich was perfectly balanced and tbe fries had just the right amount of salt. This was a wonderful meal that I will be having again.

One hit, one miss - Edit
I had a salat and subsequently two of their Porto-Melts. Salad was okay-ish, and the first Porto-Melt really hit it, but the second, with some other cheese was actually off putting. I’d like to see them keep the same standards as their North Lincoln Avenue location.

Depends on what you order, but all is good! - Edit
I love the Thai Crunch salad with seasoned tofu, cilantro dressing, lettuce, edamame, cabbage, carrots, and crispy rice. It's the rice that gives it the crunch. A wonderfully flavorful dish. I've also tried the spicy cauliflower wrap, which is also very good but I now prefer the salad, with its extra nutrition.

Healthy, expensive “cafeteria” food - Edit
Elephant Vine markets itself as a bright, clean, modern plant-based self-service joint. The aesthetics are certainly nice. The food, however, is rather basic... At least the southern comfort bowl.
Read moreI was expecting it to have more kick, grease, and dark greens, but instead it was several scoops of veggies and lightly seasoned tofu on top of slightly dehydrated chopped romaine… like cafeteria food.

Great looking place, looking forward to trying other things on the menu - Edit
Beautiful, bright, clean and cheery place for quick vegan fare. They have the dynamite cauli-wings that Spirit Elephant has, but I didn’t at all care for the Niçoise salad. I love Fork Over Knives “no tuna” salad recipe, and this tuna simply didn’t appeal to me. Regardless, I’ll definitely be back to try other things.
