Tasty baguettes

We liked our pesky (faux fish) and h.a.l.t baguettes, the meatball one wasn’t as good. The baguettes are on a 2 for 1 offer (ie get one free) until 31 May. Staff were friendly.

Vegan Bahn mi

One of the nicest bahn mi I have tasted. Quite a number of vegetarian/vegan options. I like the Pesky Vegan bahn mi the most!😄

Such a good sammie

Ordered online and tried their Pure OBOY sandwich that is vegan 🌱 It was seriously delicious and filling. Will definitely order again from them. Second time tried their Vegan Pesky and that was delicious as well.

Love the vegan sandwich

Bahn Mi with a twist. Lots of choices for vegan / vegetarian. A pretty big portion for 1. Love the vegan halt.

Crunchy, tasty, lovely, recommended

Wanted to try their award winning Vegan H.A.L.T sandwich, as it won abillion top 50 Vegan dishes 2021, but after checking both the Quorn vegan patty and avocado salsa contain alliums, confirmed with Quorn that only their mycoprotein nuggets, Southern Fried Burgers, Vegan Fishless Fingers, Mince, Pieces and Fillets are alliums free, so ordered the Healthy sandwich and Pesky sandwich, both are crunchy, tasty and lovely as described in their logo LOL.

1. OBOY Healthy sandwich
Comes with Quorn mycoprotein nuggets, tangy asian slaw, vegan mayo and fresh coriander, really good, recommended.

2. Vegan Pesky sandwich
Comes with Vegan fish fillets, tangy asian slaw, vegan mayo and fresh coriander, this's the best ever vegan fish fillet imho, tastes better than the real fish fillet, must try, most recommended.

Affordable and Tasty Sandwiches

REBEL is a sandwich joint selling both traditional and modern fusion flavours of Vietnamese banh mi. There are currently 4 plant-based sandwiches on the menu. I appreciate the fact that the plant-based options are of the same price range as the usual menu items, as this is not often the case in other eateries. They also often have Meatless Monday discounts.

The baguette bread baked in-house was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Vegan HALT ($8.25) came with Quorn patties, which paired well with the creamy and savoury avocado salsa as well as tomato pieces. Vegetarian Healthy BOSS ($9.80) came with a generous amount of Quorn nuggets, patties, and tempeh. The chunkiness and meatiness of the ingredients was balanced out by the crunchy and slightly sour Asian carrot and cabbage slaw. This was definitely a filling option who those who like their sandwiches loaded with toppings. Even my omnivore friends were impressed by the Vegan HALT and Vegetarian Healthy BOSS sandwiches as the Quorn products closely resembled real chicken meat and the vegetables/dressings were flavourful. Overall a pretty healthy and tasty meal. I also liked how the drinks included healthier options like a wide range of organic kombucha.

Good vegan sandwich if you are in the area

It is a good place to find vegan sandwich options. Good patty and fresh veggies. The place is quiet and clean.

Amazing options for vegan burgers

Restaurant not vegan but offers 4 vegan sandwich options (Quorn chicken patties). I had the Pure sandwich (Quorn patty and tempeh) which was beyond amazing! Like the dressing used (fresh Asian flavours). The bread used was nicely toasted. Quite affordable at $6.90 for a sandwich or $8 for a meal with a drink.

Restaurant has an edgy but cosy ambience. Provides water too. Very under rated.

Pros: 4 vegan options out of the 15 item menu. , Freeflow water, Nice ambience/atmosphere. Not crowded

I would give 5 stars if happY cow allowed it on not fully vegan restaurants. Delicious vegan sandwiches and the staff are wonderful
