They told us they had no vegan dishes

Based on these reviews, we made an online reservation. We included a note that we were vegan and looked forward to trying the vegan options we read about. They called us the next day to say they had no vegan options for us, just vegetarian because they use egg. It seems so unlikely that they couldn't modify some dishes to be vegan, but we obviously aren't going to ask them to do so when they so clearly stated it wasn't possible. Nice that they called, but very odd.

Good food

Erawan is always a winner when dining with non-vegans. My all-time favourite is the red curry tofu and the tofu phad medmamuang. Also, it doesn't say so on the menu, but you can order vegetarian springrolls, which happen to also be vegan. Bonus!

Heerlijk gegeten!

Ik kwam hier al graag voordat ik plantaardig ging eten. Was nu verrast door de keuze in veganistische gerechten. En er werd ook fijn meegedacht!

Meh

Is it possible that the dutch like this kind of tasteless Thai food? Ordered the basil dish and the cashew dish, and a soup. The food was boring. Thai food in Thailand, or in the United States, is consistently way way better. I won't come back.

Fyi, they charged 1 Euro for tap water.

For tofu lovers

The variety of vegan options was more than expected! The yellow Curry with tofu and potato was delightful and not as spicy as I was prepared for!

Pros: Tofu! And very good curry, Big portions, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Restless staff, And long waiting times , due to the place being very busy
