The falafel and hummus here are actually really nice, but the other ingredients are so salty, it's impossible to enjoy it. Not enough fresh vegetables to balance out the stodgy hummus and falafels for me.

Tried this place through deliveroo for the first time recently. They're fairly well reviewed in Leeds but I found the food really salty, over seasoned and pretty mediocre. Definitely wouldn't order again.

Grossly overcharged - Edit
Got charged the price of a full meal (£7.50) for a side of sweet potato fries. It’s awful to charge someone that much for potatoes. I complained and was offered a free portion next time but I’m not coming back there to only give them more business.

These guys make amazing falafel, really fresh fillings, are so friendly and enthusiastic, communicate well and serve so quickly, everyone was delighted they catered our wedding, especially me. Their new van is lovely, go check them out.

Street food certainly seems to be a cool thing to do at the moment and this is quite possibly the best street-based falafal I've ever had. Falafal is the quintessential vegan street food. It's not something I'd generally order in a restaurant as without doubt it's best served rough and ready on a street corner. These guys understand vegan, so there's no need be concerned. There's also no worries about cross contamination. The house hummus is amazing too. I absolutely guarantee you will be impressed with the dedication and workmanship of the Falafel Guys. Worth every penny of the £4 asking price. I would have given five cows but alas they they also offer chicken schawarma.

Visited the bright red van in the middle of briggate for my lunch after being recommended by a friend and I all I can say is... WOW!
Read moreI was greeted by the friendly chaps who walked me through their specialised menu and I ordered their famous Falafels. Great colour, smell and even better taste! With their homemade tahini sauce and fresh salad, I was left wanting more!
