I got the falafel roll. I loved that this is not a run-of-the-mill falafel wrap, but still feels familiar. The sauce had a great tahini flavor and the pickles were awesome.

Wow just wow. Fast service. Incredibly tasty falafel roll. I got the one with squash and chilli potatoes and it was just delicious. You gotta try this place. Would recommend taking the roll to go and find a nice bench in the area.

Great! Not much else to say. Would reate it a 5 if possible. Not the cheapest of course but great value for the price. Will definitely come back. Just remember to tell them you want it vegan.

Faour offers easily the best Falafel in Aarhus, along with an excellent selection of Mezze. 3 varieties of Falafel are named after 3 streets in Gellerup, Aarhus' "United Nations." They also make Manakesh with only Za'atar and olive oil.

Easily the best falafel and mezze in town! Very authentic! I would have given it 5 stars, but Happy Cow doesn't allow it, because the restaurant serves a tiny bit of meat.

Best falafel in Aarhus - Edit
The variety in the three falafel wraps you can get here easily makes them the more exciting falafel options in the city compared to the standard fare of some iceberg and tomato. My favourite is the one with aubergine, the creamy texture goes well with the crunch of the falafel and the veg.

They made the Faour mezze vegan for us, which I shared with two omnies and everyone had a manakish of their choice, which was a good amount of food for 3 in the end. The staff was very helpful with ordering and accommodating, said they could make a vegan spinach, chili, onion manakish if I wanted. It seems, most people use it as a take away and there are not many tables to sit at, so it doesn't have a "going to a restaurant" ambience, so next time I go it will be because I'm down town anyway and not extra to come here for dinner from the suburbs. Probably the perfect place for lunch though.

We were two, and had two falafels, both amazingly good. Also, we had a dish with three dormas, which were really tasty. Plus tap water.

Definitely not the best falafel nor durum/pita I've tasted. However, they are better than the average standard, you get most places.
