Had lunch at Flax & Kale last November and I really enjoyed the food.
Read moreI tried the Kale Chips, which were well done and seasoned, the tacos which were tasty and a very nice portion and the breaded vegan chicken with salad (like a caesar salad) which was also super tasty. The vegan cheesecake was OKish, nothing special.
The juices from Flax & Kale (and that are also sold at Teresa Carles) are also one of the highlights for me, very very good.

Tra i 3 flax & kale questo è quello che preferisco meno perché troppo caotico, c’è sempre molta gente. Meglio prenotare prima. Posto fantastico per brunch o anche cena, adoro le loro kombucha e hanno un terrazzino molto carino al piano superiore!

Read moreThe Funghi Coco Toast is soo savory - and great for starters. The raw vegan lasagna seemed a bit small at first but it really stuffed me and sustained me for the rest of the day. The Macadamia Cashew cream filler makes it a super dense meal.

their açaí smoothie bowl hits the spot.

If Happy Cow would let me, this would be 5 stars. So much better, both in food and setting, than other pure vegan spots such as Vegan Corner. You could eat here for days and not have the same twice and it’s all healthy and interesting. It’s also less expensive than tiny spots like Cactus Cat.

We've had one of their salads, which are worth the price and come with big portions. The main course are pricier but also tasty. We've had the black rice and the Ravioli. Especially for the last one we recommend a starter, if you're hungry. You can definetily see they belong together with the Teresa Carles full vegetarian Restaurant.

Great, inventive food, beautiful location, and friendly staff.
Read moreWe shared some entrées, such as the kale chips, the guacamole tacos, and the avocado tartare.
I then ordered their black rice with coconut and sprouts, which had a pleasant fishy flavour.
We then shared again some of their desserts: a rich mango-cookie cake, an interesting matcha cake, and a decadent three-chocolate cake with hazelnut ice-cream.
Definitely recommended.

ate lunch here with a non-veggie friend. we both ordered the caesar salad. the vegan bacon was amazing, the best i've ever tasted. the sauce was super creamy and flavorsome. it's one of those dishes i'm going to be thinking about for months! dessert was impressive too, i ordered a chocolate mouse tarte. there were lots of other vegan options on the menu, i'd love to go back and try them all! the decor was cool and staff were pleasant.

Got a to go coffee elsewhere to wait until their kitchen opened at 10:00. Arrived at 10:05 they requested I finish it outside before entering (politely), but then found out that they don’t actually start serving breakfast until 10:30. If you want to start your day promptly go elsewhere.

The pad thai and smoothie I had were great but the cheesecake I had at the end was horrible.
Read moreSlimey/Wet on the side and not tasty at all (very weird taste). Couldn't bring myself to eat the rest of it. This is the worst cheesecake I have ever had and trust me I've tried a lot of them 😄
Also: the smoothies are served in plastic bottles.... what a huge pile of waste there must be at the end of the day...
In addition: quite pricey! Paid 25€ for one person.
The staff was quite cold, not particularly rude but could be way more friendly.
Would maybe go again for the other vegan options (there were a lot) but wouldn't recommend the cheesecake!

The food really is amazing but it’s a pescatarian joint with equally numerous vegan options. The service however completely voids the good food. We’ve been here many times before and experience the same cold dismissive service every time but as we want to give the place a chance each time and we can’t resist the good food we don’t stop trying. I suggest the weekend brunch menu. Much tastier options and service upstairs is slower than service in the main area.
