Loved everything and will definitely be going back. The food was so delicious and the staff was friendly. It was also so easy to make a reservation. We got the Caesar salad, Roulade, Schnitzel, cheese cake, and strawberry tiramisu. The tiramisu was basically strawberry shortcake and was the best thing we ate. So creamy!

leicht traditionell deutsch angehauchte Speisen mit überraschender Konsistenz und absolut lecker. Dieses Restaurant ist gut geeignet, um auch Fleischesser zu begeistern. Die Roulade, die Hähnchenkeule, der Ceasar-Salad, die KEEESE-Ecken und die hausgemachten Getränke haben mir sehr gemundet.

Nachdem ich die vielen positiven Bewertungen gelesen hatte, waren meine Erwartungen sehr hoch. Und ich muss leider sagen, ich war etwas enttäuscht. Das Essen war gut, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches U definitiv keine fünf Sterne.

I tried the Hähnchenschnitzel, it was served with Pilzrahmsauce and Bratkartoffeln. It was all very good but in my opinion a crazy combination.

The service was good and friendly but the Restaurant was quite full so they had a lot to do.

I brought visitors here and it was great to have a chance for them to try traditional German food (veganized). We ordered the chicken with gnocchi and snow peas, a schnitzel, and the soy roulade. I would not recommend the roulade, the flavor was super intense. The other two dishes were nice enough, an interesting experience to try. We had the creme brulee for dessert which seemed like a rice pudding with a sugar top. Prices were a bit high for Berlin but still okay.

Das Försters ist ein österreichisch-gutbürgerliches Restaurant - aber vegan. Trotzdem muss man nichts missen, was man als Omni gegessen hat. Ob Schnitzel, Rouladen oder Lachs - für all die tierischen Gerichte bietet das Försters eine sehr leckere (ich übertreibe nicht) Alternative. Und die Keeseecken Leute, die schmecken wie Back Camembert 🤤

Dönerstag - Edit
Donnerstags ist im Försters Dönerstag, weshalb wir seit Langem mal wieder dort waren. Das Försters ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir haben, bevor wir unseren Döner erhalten haben, noch einen Gruß aus der Küche (Eifreisalat auf Pumpernikel) erhalten. Den Döner kann man sich mit mehreren Saucen bestellen und das entweder im Fladenbrot, als Dürüm oder Dönerteller. Wir haben uns für die Fladenbrot-Variante entschieden. Leider war bei mir das Vleisch zu stark angebraten, wodurch es teilweise sehr zäh und schwer zu kauen war. Insgesamt fand ich den Döner aber lecker, da das Fladenbrot mit dem Salat und der leckeren Sauce gut geschmeckt hat. Als Nachtisch hatten wir uns noch für den Kaiserschmarren entschieden. Angerichtet sah er wirklich schön aus, aber leider war der Teig ein kompletter Reinfall, da er steinhart war, schon fast Keksartig und nicht fluffig wie man ihn erwartet hätte. Das Zwetschgenkompott schmeckte dafür gut und man konnte den „Keks“ dort etwas einweichen lassen. Ich vermute, dass der Kaiserschmarren vorbereitet und daher ausgetrocknet war. Ich hoffe, dass die Kritikpunkte behoben werden, damit beim nächsten Besuch dann alles wieder passt.

Absolut der Hammer! Ich esse sonst nicht vegan, aber hier war ich nur begeistert. Sieht aus wie traditionelle Hausmannskost, schmeckt mindestens genauso gut und das ganz ohne tierische Produkte! Hammer! Jederzeit wieder.

Wir waren im Juli 2022 dort essen - eine absolute Herzensempfehlung! Als Vorspeise unbedingt die Keeseecken bestellen, sie ziehen wirklich Fäden! Außerdem hatten wir noch die Tagessuppe, Basilikumcreme, ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Da wir am Dönerdonnerstag dort waren, war die Hauptspeise schnell gewählt. Unserer Meinung nach würde hier keinem Fleischesser ein Unterschied auffallen, wenn sie es nicht wüssten😉

Visiting Berlin and have obviously been scoping out all vegan spots that I can. I went to around 10 during my visit- Försters being the best vegan meal I had. Quite possibly the best vegan meal I have EVER had. I went on a Monday and they had a schnitzel special. I made a reservation and the place was pretty by the time I left. Amazing.

I had been twice in this place and tasted some plates. Definitely recommend the vegan cheese wedges, they are perfect, and the creamy chanterelles. The Schnitzel with potato salad and cucumber salad is also very tasty. One of the few restaurants that offer veganised traditional German cuisine. The place has a nice atmosphere and is usually full, definitely recommend booking a table.

Die Vorspeise war wirklich sehr gut.

Die Hauptgerichte allerdings waren eher mittelmässig Und nicht gut abgeschmeckt, preislich eher etwas höher.
Uns wurde ein falsches Hauptgericht gebracht, welches wir nicht bestellt hatten.
Dieses haben wir zwar direkt moniert, mussten es aber trotzdem bezahlen (zu 50% des preises) und nochmal warten bis das eigentliche Gericht kam, welches wir bestellt hatten.
Es kam uns dann alles etwas unbeholfen vor, obwohl wir daran ja keine Schuld getragen haben, schade.
