Expensive vegan milks

Can’t give a top rating for a coffee shop that charges $1 for a couple tablespoons of vegan milk.

Good coffee

I stopped in for a quick breakfast. The latte was good. I had an avocado toast, which was also good.
Vegan options weren’t clear at first— I only realized after I ordered that they have a vegan croissant and vegan cream cheese for the bagels. I also overheard the cashier telling someone about vegan cheese for one of the sandwiches. I wish I had asked about vegan options, and I wish that their menu was more clear.
However, overall it was very good for a quick breakfast and nice to know that they’re vegan friendly.

Very good coffee

As a coffee lover I am going to to say that this is the best tasting one in the area. I really enjoyed the vegan blueberry croissant and also the bagel with herb tofu cream cheese was good.
Very friendly baristas and comfortable seating inside. Bonus is the outside seating.

Pros: Coffee

nice place for breakfast

the avocado toast is great, the vegan breakfast wrap is a lot, I had trouble to finish it all.
the coffee is good too, but there's an up charge for vegan milk alternatives. the warm coffee tastes better than the iced one.

Good coffee

The coffee here is good, though if you want milk, note that they charge a hefty ($1) "vegan tax" for alternative milks. This cafe has a bunch of seating both inside and outside.

They offer some vegan food, but not a lot. When I came today, the vegan items I saw were a vegan wrap, a vegan blueberry croissant, and a bagel with tofu (though in general, it is best in NYC to have bagels only in an actual bagel shop, nowhere else). I had an espresso plus the vegan blueberry croissant--I found it over-sweet. IN all, this place is okay, but my favorite coffee shop in this area remains Bird and Branch (which is also listed on Happy Cow).

Best coffee we’ve had in the city

Coffee is rich and smooth. We don’t ever buy coffee out but decided to splurge on ourselves today. Ended up here. Staff is extremely helpful and very polite. Highly Recommend this cute clean coffee shop!!

Pros: Beverages, Staff, Environment

Cons: None
