Amazing gem of a place! - Edit
Love the vibe of the place. Really great seitan. The food is wonderful. We had shawarma, a Reuben sandwich and homemade chips that were incredible. Well worth a visit, great menu!

Amazing food - Edit
The Philly cheesesteak was amazing😍. My boyfriend(who isn’t veggie) had the shawarma and couldn’t believe how much it tasted of lamb. The portions are so big the photos don’t do the food justice. Can’t wait to return!

Best Sunday roast - Edit
I had the Sunday roast here and it was absolutely amazing. Every part of it was incredible and literally couldn't be faulted. I also tried the cheesy broccoli and cauliflower which was also delicious. Would definitely recommend!
Read moreSalt n pepper chickn is also delicious (albeit a bit greasy).

New favorite vegan spot in Liverpool - Edit
We loved our first time visiting Guac n roll! The location is not somewhere you’d just stumble across when walking through Liverpool however it is not far from the city centre/Lime st station and there was loads of parking nearby. We loved the punk themed decor and music and got to chat to the owners for a while who are super lovely, open, and friendly and they make all the food themselves.
Read morePortions were massive and such good value for the price! It was clear that the food and flavours had been perfected over years because even the home cooked chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. We forgot to take photos but we had the snickers and the biscoff cheesecake for dessert and it was the closest I’ve ever had to the flavor and texture of dairy cheesecake in the 7 years I have been vegan. They really nailed it!
We are 100% coming back to Guac n roll again and again and we wish we’d found it sooner!
Pros: Super friendly owners, Cool decor and atmosphere, Very tasty food

Well-worth the trip from the centre. Very interesting restaurant, nice music. I mean, it's punk so maybe it's not meant to be nice. But to me it is. Nice people too.

Very tasty - Edit
My other half loved the banh mi and I enjoyed the philly cheesesteak. Normally we swap half and half but this time we swapped back as we were both happy with our first choice. I liked the fact that the cheesesteak was not messy to eat as well as being tasty. We had an interesting conversation about straight edge punk movement whilst listening to the music

Great food and reasonably priced - Edit
Amazing food and reasonably priced - £10 for a burger and £11 for a giant philly cheesesteak. The seitan was so realistic! Only downside is that the restaurant itself was quite cold, but the food makes up for that

I loved this place. We discovered it by accident but the food was some of the best I’ve had in ages. Imagine punk does vegan and that’s the kind of place this is. If you are in the area go and see for yourself

A hidden gem, well worth a trip. - Edit
I got a take away for my train journey after a busy weekend in Liverpool. It was about 10 mins walk, at the back of Lime street station, well worth the walk and close to Abakhans, also well worth a visit. The restaurant is spacious inside and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The surrounding streets were a bit deserted, but it could have just been that time (5pm) on a Sunday evening. I had the corn tacos, £6 for 2. There was a good choice of other options, so it was hard to choose. Great compostable container to take away food in. I also had a take away tea and spotted a biscoff cheesecake, which I just had to have and was glad it I did, amazing. All the food was delicious and filled me up on the journey.

Cool vibes! - Edit
It seems that the business has recently been operating as a pop up and currently crowd funding to help with securing a permanent location. However they are operating out of the listed venue and have their soft launch menu, which contains mostly mock meat dishes. The vibe of the place is awesome and I love the style. Staff/owners are lovely. I'm personally not a fake meat fan so found the menu limiting in choice. I chose the Banh Mi and it was very good. Filling and flavourful, it's got a nice kick to it.

Cool place - Edit
First of all, the location of Guac n roll isn't the best. It was so quiet, other businesses are in that location and all of them were empty too so I felt very watched lol.
Read moreThey have such a wide range of options on the menu, so many different things to choose from.
I picked the salt n pepper chicken and chips which was super tasty but very salty (duh) The chips were super crispy but soft on the inside but the chicken wasn't the best vegan chicken I've had.
The portion size was too big for just one so I'd definitely eat there with another person if you're going!

Nice place - Edit
Went with colleagues and we all enjoyed our meals. I’ve uploaded some of the pictures. Sorry I can’t remember what everyone ordered, but I had the Po Boy and some stick ribs. Very nice. Novel interior and generally nice staff. Not too sure about the girl serving - tried to talk to her a few times which is always quite difficult, especially the last time when she effectively ignored us when leaving the cafe.

Awesome vegan junk food - Edit
I swithered over whether to give four or five stars because out of the four vegan restaurants I went to in Liverpool, this would be my least favourite. However, it was a high standard of other local vegan places to be up against, and I did love the menu. The staff member was friendly, and we were only disadvantaged by a lack of desserts because they had an event on that night.
Read moreThey share a space with a bar, and that is a separate business and were advertising their drinks on a menu on the table - I got excited to see ice cream cocktails then realised they weren't vegan.
If you love vegan junk food I would definitely recommend it.
