Vegan Pizza is so good!

Ate here for the second time tonight. First time we tried the Vegan Pizza and Burger and they were both really nice! The burger has a home-made bean patty on it that has a nostalgic BBQ grilled flavour and had a good amount of avocado on there too.
Tonight we ordered 2 Vegan Pizzas and it was even better than the first time! Heaps of vegan cheese on there and good sized pizza.
We also tried some cocktails and the Berries Queen and Peanut Butter smoothie which were all really nice as well.
Pricier than eating Thai food but it's worth it for a nice meal if you're not on a tight budget.
The owner is super friendly and you can tell a lot of love goes into preparing their vegan meals.

Pros: Awesome Vegan menu , Nice atmosphere , Friendly staff and owner

Cons: Little bit pricey for our budget

A must visit for Vegans!

I'm so thankful this place exists as there are only a few venues within the vacinity of Karon that provide vegan-specific options.

Currently there's about 10 specific vegan options on Hakan's menu, with the additional option of veganising almost every Thai dish they make.

The owners became vegan last year and they have advised that they are working to make at least half of their menu Vegan within 6 months.

We tried the Vegan pizza, Vegan burger and their Vegan mushroom/spinach pasta. All dishes were fantastic! The pizza was of a good size with tasty melted cheese and topped with a good selection of veggies. The burger had a home made bean patty with a very nostalgic BBQ taste, came with a handful of chips along with a sweet tomato style sauce, an Avo guac and a very tasty satay dipping sauce.

The pasta was also tasty but the portion slightly smaller than expected. I have mentioned this to the owners who said they will fix the portion size. They're so open to feedback, which is fantastic!

The atmosphere was wonderful too, our waiter spoke good English and understands the word Vegan (a rarity in Phuket), he pointed out the vegan options page for us on the menu. There was a guitarist serenading throughout the night, blending one song into the next almost seamlessly. He was great.

There's outdoor lounge-style seating as well as indoor seating and a children's play corner as well. There's also a super cool tuktuk with a table on the back where guests can dine, out the front of the restaurant.

We're going to bring our family next time, they'll love it!

They're also very accommodating to larger groups. There was a party of about 20 guests who came as we were finishing up and they just joined a bunch of tables end to end.

I highly recommend this place of staying in Karon.

Vegan-specific options range from 200-300 Baht and the veganised Thai options are around 140 - 160 Baht.
