Good, but pricy - Edit
The waffles are delicious and there is a good selection of vegan toppings to choose from, but you pay extra per typing, which can get expensive really quickly, with toppings being either €0,99 €1,99 or €2,99 each.

Great vegan waffles and friendly service - Edit
Cozy place with a lot of vegan toppings and drinks to choose from. We had vegan waffles (one with avocado and vegan bacon, the other with banana, maple syrup and vegan wipped cream), tea and hot chocolate. It was quite filling and very tasty!

The waffles we had were really good and amount wise basically a full meal. We chose Bacon & Maple Syrup and Strawberries & Whipped Cream. The maple syrup came in a small can and was actually enough for both waffles. In total the prices for the toppings made the waffles pretty expensive, I would also wish for a bigger vegan selection. The owner was very friendly, the spiritiual music a bit much for our taste though.

The vegan waffle tasted almost healthy despite the toppings, but it had a strong flavor of cinnamon, which is nice if you like that (I don't mind, but I wasn't expecting it either). The toppings are delicious but as they are individually expensive, the price of the waffle quickly adds up. I paid €16 for one with 3 toppings.

Like a childhood memory - Edit
I come here sometimes on Sundays and it's so peaceful, with little guests who speak in low volume. I love it! The vegan waffles have a touch of cardamom and the first time I had them with just vegan cream and strawberry jam, it felt so homely. I love that you can choose and combine toppings from the menu. Their tea blends are also nice.

The dough is super soft. The toppings are a bit expensive, but the waffle is a bit big, so if you are not very hungry you can share with someone else and add more toppings

I recently visited with a friend after great memories of my first time here. That was about two years ago and I left a positive review on this site about that experience. I was looking forward to sharing it with my friend, but upon entrance I noticed that the place is under new management. Much to my surprise, that hasn't done the place any good.
Read moreWhile the waffles tasted great, the styling just wasn't what it used to be. The waffle was decorated messy and sloppy, which was a disappointment for my friend who wanted to post about it on her instagram. When you pay a premium price (waffle plus toppings 15 euros, smoothies 6 euros) you expect a premium experience.
I didn't like the music that they played and everywhere we looked we saw pictures ad paintings of a man who was, as we've learned, the spiritual teacher of the owner. Small business cards with quotes from said teacher were given to us and we read that free meditation lessons were offered, though optional.
The new owner is a very friendly guy and I'm sure there will be an audience in Amsterdam for this, but we just want to enjoy good food, in a cosy place, with cute music. We felt very out of place and will not be coming back. This just isn't for us.
Pros: Waffles taste great, Friendly staff
Cons: Premium price for subpar experience, Ambiance was too spiritual for us

At first it seems a young, fresh, trendy place, but then you suddenly see the pictures at the walls and the music is coming threw...., and that makes it a strange unconsequent branding-problem: the latter are way too spiritual (for me). Depends what your priorities are: the waffles are okay but not flabbergasting, and putting cream on top of a hot dish is also not a recommendation: it will melt to a greasy soup. But well, there’re a lot vegan options what is great! Tip for the owner: make th ecookie that comes with the drink also vegan (and just don’t tell the non-vegans, they’ll don’t mind).

Best Waffle experience ever, great and friendly place! - Edit
A friendly and fun oasis, 'Heart-Garden' was a great experience! We really enjoyed the waffles (also gluten-free option) and the super tasty Indian coffee. And the big surprise was the smoothie, not only looked amazing but also smooth and creamy for our vegan 'Elsa' and the healthy deep purple 'purpelicious' Be aware, bright colors!

Loved the bright atmosphere, nice music, lots of plants, possible to sit outside too... And for those interested in spirituality there are nice books for sale and free meditation classes are offered on a regular basis.
Definitely worth a visit if you are in town!
