A gem near the old port! - Edit
I stopped in for breakfast on a Wednesday and enjoyed a lovely baguette topped with delicious spreads and vegetables. I also had the pandan latte. I believe this is a one-man operation and the owner is delightful. Unfortunately, I do not speak French, but he was very accommodating with my lack of French and very familiar with his French-speaking patrons. The cafe has a very cozy atmosphere and the space is well-designed. The tables are well set-up for solo visitors, which was great for me.

The Owner is a one man army here but he serves amazing food and loved his service too! The place is a boutique outlet in the inside lanes of Old Port in Marseille- definitely worth visiting.

A Marseille must! - Edit
We visited John Silvers on the second and third day of our Marseille trip, for lunch. We had the kebab which was great! The chips that came with it were the best I’ve had in a really long time (tasty, homemade and fresh) and the kebab itself was really nice/stuffed full!
Read moreWhilst we were there the owner was running the place (making the food, drinks, serving etc) - he was really lovely and welcoming. Great service, very attentive and friendly. He was so on the ball and organised.
A small place but very clean (including the toilets). Would certainly recommmend anyone who is visiting Marseille to stop by.

We had coffee, unfortunately I didn't like the oat milk so much as it had a very strong taste. And also we had toast with vegan meat substitute, it was great. But it didn't have many other options for breakfast. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. It was wonderful to see a fully vegan restaurant in Marseilles.
