Unremarkable but decent Lebanese food. - Edit
This place serves run-of-the-mill Lebanese dishes. Everything was fine, nothing was exceptional - but also nothing was bad. Portion sizes were generous - if you order to try a little of everything you're going to get awfully full.
Read moreOn the downside the bread was a little stale and there's not much in the way of separation between the smoking and non-smoking section which wasn't great.
Also, the menu wasn't entirely clear on what was vegan and what was vegetarian and the staff had no idea the difference between the two. We were told one dish had dairy cream in it was absolutely vegan. It wasn't vegan faux cream. He just didn't know what vegan meant. It took quite a while for both sides to make clear what was what, which made ordering long, awkward and frustrating for everyone involved.
There is a bridge in the middle of the restaurant. That's pretty entertaining.
Pros: Reliable Lebanese food, Big serving sizes, Entertaining decor
Cons: Menu isn't entirely clear, Staff not so sure what vegan means, A lot of smokers smoking heavily just over there

Delicious - Edit
We went here for dinner, and it's a great choice! 2 full pages of the menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes one with salads. It was really hard to choose, everything seemed amazing.
Read moreWe tried the mix hummus which was a bunch of small dips and salads a falafel plate. Everything was super tasty, the hummus especially. Would come back to try the bean dishes and more hummus if it wasn't for the extremely bad service where the only waiter was borderline rude.
Pros: Tasty and many options , Fairly priced (€11,63 for a meal for two)
Cons: Really bad service and a tip is included in price, Only bread option is Arabic pre-made bread

I love this place! - Edit
I go there every time I visit Yerevan. I love this place for how fresh and well spiced all dishes are. They have a whole vegetarian page in their menu - with lots also vegan dishes (rather sides than mains).

Nice food - service hit and miss - Edit
Typical arabic dishes - hommus, falafel etc. I ordered the falafel plate which was huge, fresh and filling. Service was really lacking though. Had to ask for the menu after 10 minutes and then had to find someone to place the order 😕

Ok, but not amazing - Edit
I don't really understand the rave reviews here. I mean the falafel sandwich and grilled peppers I had were good, but it didn't really stand out. I guess it is because there isn't that much choice for vegetarians in Armenia.

Delicious middle Eastern food! - Edit
Very delicious middle Eastern food! A cute little restaurant with a friendly, English-speaking staff. Prices are super reasonable ($2 a dish), and incredibly delicious. Having come here one day, I came back the next. The vegetarian page is clearly laid out separately, and contains perhaps 25 choices. Very highly recommend!

Ugly globalist efficiency goes places - Edit
Ugly globalist "efficiency" spreads like a plaque.
Read moreI went to Lagonid this evening. After asking a waitress what is fresh and natural, I chose hummus. I got a lifeless smooth paste with a bland and slightly acidic taste. It was accompanied by an "arab" bread which looked and tasted like something sold in supermarkets with a long shelf life. I strongly suspect that the reason for such quality is that concept of cooking fresh (fresh means several times per day) from natural ingredients is sacrificed for "efficiency."
Otherwise, restaurant was nice, good decor, nicely arranged tables, nice tableware. But if you come for good food, forget it!

Babaganoosh is DA BOMB - Edit
This is the place where I had the most amazing vegan dish in my life - babaganoosh. It's simple but so delicious. We also ordered falafel on the plate which was OK. The staff was super-friendly and helpful.

Great food! - Edit
Yerevan ist not the best vegan and vegetarian destination so I was happy to go and check this place based on the previous happy cow reviews and I was not disappointed. I had a portion of French fries, a tasty and inexpensive falafel wrap (600 amd) and a lentil soup served with that typical Syrian fried bread and spices. Everything very delicious and on top of that a very polite and attentive staff. Recommended.
Read morePros: inexpensive (when comparing to most western capita, vegan options like falafel, hummus, etc, service is attentive and kind

Excellent food, friendly, huge portions - Edit
Great restaurant. Offers standard fare for Middle-Eastern food and gives large portions for cheap prices (cheap on the exchange rate for foreigners, average price for the city).
Read moreI had hummus, bread, fatoush salad and some amazing iced tea for approximately $5 US.

500 dram Syrian falafel and a variety of ME treats - Edit
Vegan options in Yerevan are so limited, so I was ecstatic to find this middle eastern restaurant run by Syrian Armenians (our waiter was a refugee with an interesting story but that's another subject). For a cheap, quick bite, order the falafel to go - unlike Israeli/Palestinian/Lebanese style falafel, this Aleppo style falafel is donut shaped and is accompanied by red radish, lettuce, tomato, and mint leaves, and it is wrapped in flatbread instead of pita. Ask for the raw tahini in it if you're vegan as the tahini sauce has yogurt. The wrap is only 500 dram to sit or to go (about 1.25 usd) and is not on the menu.
Read moreFor a serious meal, there are a variety of middle eastern dishes, dips, and salads that a table can share together with a side of syrian bread. I recommend the imam bayundi, a savory eggplant, tomato, and onion dish. I posted the vegetarian menu as an image so check it out :)
Pros: Great service , Nice atmosphere, Wifi
