The restaurant has birds in cages

The restaurant has birds in cages and shouldn’t be supported by ethical vegans.

Update 31st October 2023 - The business does have 3 vegan items on the menu, but they keep birds in cages. Should not be supported by ethical vegans. at Las 3 Abuelas in Monterrey

Very Tasty

This restaurant has a specific vegan menu which is nice. There were 7-8 options as well as a few more vegetarian options. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, the only thing I disliked was that they were 2 items on the vegan menu that I wanted to try that were not available, which was a shame.

The food itself was pretty good, the enchiladas had slightly undercooked veggies, and the sauce was a tad bitter, not sure if it was intended. The stuffed pepper was delicious and the Chilaquiles had a succulent mushroom topping that left me wanting more. The rice accompanying the pepper was underseasoned, but cooked appropriately. Overall, I had a really great time, some items were better than others but I would definitely recommend this place and I would go again. #Veganuary
