Brunch was OK - Edit
I ordered the West Philly Breakfast for brunch. The BBQ smoked tofu was not very good (still edible, but seriously lacking flavor and texture), it seemed like they didn’t really know what they were doing when they were cooking it. The uncut sausage and potato toast were also underwhelming.

If Local 44 reads these, they should consider changing the BBQ tofu I think. I would probably try to make a tofu egg scramble. You’ll get way more flavor, and it’ll fit the theme of the breakfast. I’d also probably get rid of the uncut sausage and replace it with fresh fruit.
Pros: Labeled vegan options!
Cons: Expensive for what you get, Don’t seem to know how to cook vegan food well

the ruben is an awesome vegan option. their food is great with a nice variety of options. our server was very kind and took great care of us even on a busy thursday evening.

Solid vegan Reuben - Edit
Typical bar near University City. Not super comfortable wouldn't want to spend tons of hours here or anyting. Decent tap list but not amazing. Would definitely consider going back. The vegan Reuben was enjoyable it hit the spot for what I was craving.

The food is great and hearty, you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay at the servers are really nice. I usually get the uncut burger with French fries and it’s delicious.

Pleasantly Surprised - Edit
I was surprised at how good the vegan rueben was at this place. It was after lunch time but too early for dinner when I went, so the place was far from busy. This place is approximately 1.1 miles from the area hospitals. So, on a nice weather day it's nice to take the walk there and you can walk off some calories on the way back.
