Busy restaurant. Offers hot and cold buffet food for dine-in or take away. Use their containers or bring your own. Slightly cheaper price at weekday lunchtime. In the hot food and dessert sections, only half the food is vegan (lots of ricotta and egg ingredients). Cold/salad section is mostly vegan. Nearest subte station is Medrano. Open Mon-Sat 11:30am-3:00pm, 7:30pm-11:30pm.

Bueno - Edit
Es una buena alternativa pero no es mi primera opción. La comida es buena, pero la mayoría de las cosas tienen huevos o lácteos, hay que prestar atención a eso.

All you can eat; you may not want to eat all that much - Edit
Chinese buffet with plenty (15-20) vegan options. 170 pesos for an all-you-can-eat (March 2017), or pay by weight for takeaway. FM thought the food was profoundly OK - good at filling you up, not massively nutritious, a few tasty options amongst a lot of relatively plain offerings. Decor was basic, but not unlike able. Staff were happy to point out all the vegan options.

Pros: Bulk - AYCE so potentially good value, Some tasty options, Friendly service
Cons: Lots of not so tasty options

I was going to write a review but you've pretty much nailed it here. There's another, cheaper vegetarian pay by weight 2 blocks south of here, but it's only open for lunch.

Not incredible - Edit
Pretty similar to Green Life, more in the center, although tastier: big buffet offering a lot of vegan options and different meat substitutes, but the dishes are not so tasty and leave a greasy impression...
Read moreThere is one price for eating in, "all you can eat", and I found it pretty expensive regarding the offer, the place (very impersonal) and well yes, the fact that I didn't eat the worth of 3 meals! It was 130 pesos, when for around 100 or 110 you can have a dish in a restaurant like Bio Solo Organico or Vita.

Excellent for Vegan / Veggie Backpackers! - Edit
This place was our salvation in Buenos Aries! So happy we found it! We saved a fortune here by cramming a takeaway tub full of food (but no rice, no noodles) and then cooking our own rice at home to go with it. By this method, we fed 2 people 2 x meals each (4 meals per tub). The tub cost $40ps which worked out at $10ps per meal! Its an all vegan and vegetarian buffet / take away. Lots and lots of choice for vegans (approx 20 dishes to choose from and a salad bar too). Lots of fake meats though so if you're not a fan of those then you may want to skip this place as most dishes contain them.

Lots of Variety - Edit
This is a great place for veggie food. We had planned to visit several different places in BA, but there was so much to try here that we kept coming back.
Read moreThe pricing system is complicated: it seems to be a fixed 90 pesos in the evenings, and by weight (working out substantially cheaper) at lunchtimes, but with various special offers too.
Pros: Range of food, Tasty, Friendly staff
Cons: Confusing pricing, Limited opening times

A pesar de ser vegetariano y no vegano tiene bastantes opciones veganas. Está copado que sea también un tenedor libre.

Great - Edit
I went there once, and I think it has great vegan options if you're thinking of taste. But it was mostly oily and greasy. It's chinese though, so I think it's expected.

70 pesos and about 15 for a beverage.

Lots of Vegan Options! - Edit
We went here twice and each ate 2 large plates of food. We were on a very tight budget and it is a very affordable place- especially for lunch on the weekdays. The staff are friendly and happily pointed out which items were vegan (about 50-75%). Unlike some other all you can eat buffets they had a very large selection of vegan items and they all had a unique taste full of different flavors. The textures of the gluten and tofu items were perfect. Ok, writing this is making me hungry and wishing I was in Buenos Aires again! Check this place out!

Popular place - Edit
Los danios is a pretty popular place because it's cheap and it's big. There is always a table to catch. Common Asian buffet food, maybe half vegan? I'd say so. Spring rolls, fried veggies in a crust, dumplings, tofu with veggies n soy sauce, rice noodles, rice and eggplant Milanese(crusted in breadcrumbs). Didnt look at the nonvegan things really. The salad buffet has some bland cooked veggies like cauliflower and broccoli. Some nonvegan salads and fruits for dessert.

Good food and variety, great price - Edit
The buffet had lost of dishes and most of them were pretty good, a couple were really good. It's all-you-can-eat, but they charge you extra if you take food and then don't eat it, which I thought was a really great idea. The servers were not overly helpful (when I asked a couple of questions (in Spanish). All in all, I liked the place and would definitely go back.

Good typical vegetarian buffet - Edit
This place is very nice and a great option in Buenos Aires. Very similar to other vegetarian restaurants in town like it, this places food seems to be a little fresher than some of the others. We enjoyed our meal here!

Good selection - Edit
The staff were friendly and the selection was great: a mix of western/asian hot meals plus salads, sushi and desserts.. A big space that got pretty full on the Sunday lunchtime I was there. Would happily go back! Prices seem to have gone up since earlier reviews, but still good value! I am not vegan so can't vouch so much for that, but a lot looked vegan but quite a few dishes looked creamy...not sure of the origin of that. Takeaway was good value too.

cheap eats - Edit
the staff went through the hot line of the buffet and pointed out everything that was without animal products (vegan) for us, very helpful. more than half the line was vegan-friendly. there were a number of faux meat dishes, sushi, faux fish, spring rolls, deep fried mashed sweet potatos! etc. i didn't get much from the cold line, just some seaweed salad that was tasty.
Read morethe restaurant has a philosophy of not wasting food, so don't take more than you can eat on each plate (but it is all you can eat, so you can go back as many times as you want).
i had lunch for 15 pesos. plus 5 pesos for water.
Pros: cheap, helpful staff, vegan options

Palermo Buffet - Edit
There are so many entries at this vegetarian Chinese buffet in Palermo, and most of the food is really tasty: three types of seitan stirfry, egg rolls, fried rice, tiny soy milanesas, flan, crepes, these little puffballs that taste like stuffing, carrot and veggie soufflé, rice pudding. The clientele is also fascinating: hardcore Christians, punk rockers, goths, vegetarians, fastidious tourists, Porteñas on a diet, families. Between lots of food and droves of people, you can't go wrong. One bit of advice: come for lunch, it's cheaper. Only 12 pesos for a Wednesday lunch but 20 pesos for a Friday dinner.

More on Los Sabios - Edit
The address is Ave. Corrientes 3733 and the nearest subte station is Medrano. The restaurant is about 30 blocks from the centre, but worth going to if one is in the neighborhood. Staff are helpful with letting you know what has 'leche' or 'huevo', so just ask. The buffet is very big and all you can eat for very cheap to someone coming from Europe. Opening hours are 12-3 and 8-midnight or later. It can get pretty busy at peak times like after 10pm. If staff don't want you to sit in the upstairs bit, it's because they suspect you are one of those customers who brings containers to take home loads of food from the buffet!
