Delicious vegan food. Arrive early so there’s still some left for you!

There are several vegetarian restaurants on Ranong road but Luk To vegetarian stands out because they make fresh food alongside their readymade food stall.

I would highly recommend the vegetarian Thai fried rice with curry paste. Excellent value for money.

Better to arrive early as food & drinks get sold out later in the afternoon. Remember to check their opening hours!

Pros: Readymade and fresh food, Delicious, Cheap

Cons: Few dishes & drinks were sold out, Closes at 6pm

Nothing fancy, good food

We ate a few dishes here and we loved them all. This restaurant doesn’t look fancy but it’s worth a try in old town. Everything on the menu is 50 bhat. Extremely affordable for an expensive city. A tip for travellers: this restaurant is close to the Chinese Buddhist temple and therefore there are a lot of vegan restaurants in this area.

Pros: Tofu basil , Pad Thai

Excellent

I've eaten here many times. Service and food are great. No complaints and they have A/C sometimes haha. If they have the mussleman curry go for that. Excellent...

Nice Chinese Food and snacks

See pics. There r rice and noodle dishes that they will cook after u order, so it will be hot, not cold. Cheap and wholesome, only some mock used. Has fried yellow noodles that came with tofu, black fungus and lotsa green veg. Nice. Finished with sweet and fragrant mango sticky rice. Yum! Bought the veg chips and bread too. Lady can speak a little English but no problem overall.

Pros: No egg. Mostly vegan items. , Cheap and good. , Clean.

Basic Jay

Very tasty basic spiced fare. Very friendly and cheap. About 100B for a couple of dishes and rice for two of us.

Pros: Cheap

Good Thai restaurant with buffet

Many people come here for take away food. They have good curry, some noodle. Price is cheap.

Try Som Tam (spicy), Ho-mok and Khanom Jeen from buffet - the best! I like fresh spring rolls with spicy sauce.

They have some food in menu. No garlic, no onion, no animal product.

Nice option

Nice buffet with a lot of choice but maybe a bit too much, you can taste some of the items placed on the street side were made a while ago (mock fish, fried roll, deep fried mushrooms) The turnover is probably wider on all the curries instead. Nice flavours overall still.

Buddhist temple cuisine

Luk To is part of a cluster of veg buffet places near the Thai and Chinese Buddhist temples in downtown Phuket. The selection here offers a little more variety than average, so there should be something for everyone. Language is not a barrier, as one can simply point at the dishes you would like.

The place was quite clean and there are a few pastries and snacks available in the front.
