Best vegan pastries.

Drove out 30mins just to try out this place. Was surprised to see it located just a couple stores away from Tart, another vegan bakery. I brought the (non-vegan) family with me, and we bought a few stuff from both places.

The pastries from Maison Des Lys is unmatched by any pastries I’ve had anywhere else, vegan or not. I bought 4 things for myself, and kids ate 3 of them (after eating their own food) and only left the last thing (a vegan savory pastry with mince, cheese, and some sort of hot sauce) because I told them they had to at least leave me something. This place is amazing.

Pros: All vegan. , Pastries are crispy and flaky and buttery amazing, Everything.

Cons: Only open Fri-Sun from morning to noon-ish.

The bakery of my dreams

Ever since I became vegan and could no longer have the amazing croissants I used to have on a regular basis, I've been chasing after that same high for years and years. Now I've finally found what I'm looking for - a croissant arguably in league with the best I've ever had (no I don't say that to all the croissants). I got the ham and cheese option, which was divine, and will definitely be back for more. It is on the pricey side but it's clearly made with love, and that's priceless.

Pros: Absolutely delicious, Savory and sweet options, Best croissants in town

Cons: Pricey, but worth it

Pastry fix 🤤🤤🤤

A nice range of pastries on offer, with coffee at hand to go with your pain au chocolat or a ham & cheese croissant! All things vegan, awesome staff, nice little set up with outdoor seating. Located in the heart of Grey Lynn township. If you’re after a pastry fix and wanting to support a small local business, I’d highly recommend dropping into Mason De Lys Pastisserie 💯

Pros: All vegan
