Great food - Edit
I’m not sure if the menu we saw was the full menu or just a one-off for a quiet Sunday, as there were only about 5 dishes and just one vegan option (which was jackfruit bowl with the tzatziki asked to be removed), and one vegetarian.
Read moreHowever, the vegan and vegetarian dishes we did have were both really good. Also provided a selection of plant milks for coffee.

Phoned me to tell me it was vegan - Edit
I made an order online of a lentil dhal and a latte with plant milk, they then phoned me after to reassure me it was vegan! It was delicious. Menu changes from afternoon to evening, vegan options aren’t marked as such but there is usually always something vegan on the menu. 2 Lei surcharge for asking them to use plant milk.

Great place! - Edit
This is a place with a really nice atmosphere and outdoors dining area. We’ve had wild muhsroom soup, minsetrone soup and a wrap with grilled vegetables, hummus and avocado, they were all really delicious! (The wrap has to be asked without cheese) The stuff was a bit dull, they didn’t smile even once when we were there.

Good vegan options - Edit
The menu is not vegan nor vegetarian. It contains meat and dairy. But the vegan section is very big and there are multiple options from black rice, pasta, noodles, chili, big appetizers and tofu meals. The choices were not lacking. They also have one of the biggest selections of tea I’ve ever seen. The food was good but definitely overpriced. Also when we ordered the appetizer the waiter told us it would take about half an hour to get it and we said it’s fine we can even have it during our meal or after. Turned out it arrived about 15 min later but the actual main meals took over an hour to make (it was pasta so definitely not something that takes a long time). We asked the waiter twice and eventually we understood they had forgotten to make our order. We were only 2-3 tables of people in the whole restaurant so we didn’t understand how they can forget us when it’s not even busy. We had to leave as it’s had been over an hour we were there so we took the meals to go. When we ate it later the coconut milk noodles were quite tasty but the spaghetti with homemade pepper sauce and tofu were really basic and boring and the tofu was tasteless. We were quite disappointed given the price we paid.

Food was good - Edit
The food tasted good and from what I could see on the menu there were plenty of vegan options to choose from and most importantly they were all very clearly marked. Absolutely no confusion. No questions. No uncertainties. the serving dishes were really unique handmade pottery, which as a potter I appreciate. We were allowed in with my dog, but the waitress was extremely lifeless and she specified that it’s only allowed in the front room not even making eye contact with me (i could see she wasn’t happy about it). Customer service was as sour as it comes. No dog bowls with water. No smiles when taking orders. But over the two days I’ve spent here I realized that this city is not very dog friendly when it comes to dog parks and social life/ bars / restaurants. Though my dog is extremely well behaved. Anyway, if you aren’t traveling with a pet i guess this place is suitable, if you don’t mind the cold treatment.
Read morePros: Clearly marked vegan options., Lots to choose from., One vegan desert option.

Good - Edit
Had a soup from lunch meniu and spaghetti with fried tofu. Both were good, just the portion for spaghetti seemed a little small. Didn't have the vegan burger. If you come during lunch time (I believe it is until 3 p.m.) you can only order from lunch menu, which isn't fully vegan.

Good place, lot of options - Edit
This was the best veg. food we found in Brasov in terms of quality vs opening times and price.
Read moreAt least half of the menu is either vegetarian or vegan, and a big plus of this place is you can get decent cooked veg. food which seems to be in short supply otherwise. This is at heart a vegetarian/vegan place which also happens to have some meat dishes on the menu, as opposed to vice versa.
After reading some reviews here, I tried the spaghetti with tofu and red pepper/paprika sauce. It felt nutritious and filling, the sauce was good and they are generous with the amount of tofu. Perhaps just the spaghetti could be improved a little as it tasted a bit like an inexpensive supermarket brand. Otherwise it was quite good.
The vegetarian quesadilla and veg. burger were also good & tasty. The hummus plate came with a fantastic little side dish of olives, artichoke and sundried tomato in olive oil (the hummus itself was also good).
The vegetable tempura with dipping sauce is quite good. It's not marked on the menu as vegan, but after asking about it, it appears to also be vegan.
The drink selection is quite good, they also serve alcohol. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The decor is nice, like a small cosy pub. The place is open late which is very useful, and fairly centrally located in the old town.
Pros: Good food, lot of options, Nice atmosphere, good location
Cons: No vegan dessert each time we asked

The worst vegan latte of my life - Edit
I know this is quite a popular spot in town, mainly for non-vegans as the choice for vegans is rather limited... but please, if you put a vegan latte on the menu, and charge more for it than the other coffees, make it worthwhile. What I got served was simply undrinkable, like you accidentally put a used coffee pad and re-used it again... super watery!
Read moreBefore paying I notified the staff on duty in a friendly manner about the status of this latte (that I obviously couldn't finish), but they just seemed uncomfortable and presented the bill. Okay then. A client that's honest and provides true feedback is an opportunity (to apologize and offer future clients something better / to offer another, properly made drink so the current client knows this was just a mistake, an isolated event / to scrape it off the bill)... now it's just a bad review.

Lovely little restaurant - Edit
Heaps of clearly labelled vegan options on the menu. We ate here twice during our week in Brasov. The tofu with black rice was my favourite, absolutely delicious! The spaghetti with tofu & roast capsicum was really nice too. Hummus platter entree was really good but not enough pita bread and maybe a bit overpriced for what it is. The vegan burger was okay but the sweet potato patty was practically mashed potato so had to eat it with a knife and fork.
Read moreOn Sunday nights they have “disco pizza” night, they offer pizzas on this night only and the rest of the menu is limited. There are no default vegan pizzas which is odd for a place with abundant vegan options, but we got the vegetarian pizza without cheese. Unfortunately first time they brought it out with cheese, but they replaced it quickly and it was delicious.
Pros: clearly labelled menu, good variety of vegan options, stylish place
Cons: food slightly hit and miss

i expected more - Edit
Since so many users were not just satisfied but enthusiastic my expectations were pretty high.
Read moreThe vegan options were clearly labeled and numerous. The food was good, but nothing fancy, parts of the vegetables in the quinoa bowl were not edible due to stringiness.
The menu offert vegan dessert, but they didn't have any that day.
The gin drinks sounded very promising but were just decorated gin tonics.
So maybe we just caught not the best day, the staff was very friendly, the drinks came fast, the food took around 40min but was freshly prepared. It was good experience but not awesome and outstanding as expected.
Pros: vegan options clearly labeled, not fast food, but wholesome, good service
Cons: not cheap (40eu for 2), no vegan dessert

Relaxed and cheerful bistro dining - Edit
Spoilt for choice with vegetarian and vegan options! We went for dinner and really enjoyed the Chili con veggie and vegetarian quesadillas. Main meals were approximately 20-30 lei per dish. We also had a delicious chocolate berry smoothie and plum crumble for dessert. There are lots of options for teas and cocktails. Staff were courteous and the atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. Menu is in English.

Great service, cool decoration and atmosphere, the staff speaks English and they were super friendly, lots of options, the food was TOTALLY delicious (I ordered the vegan burguer and my husband the Spaghetti with roasted red peppers and tofu - both were perfect!), the price worths a lot (and it is not pricey like another bad places in Braşov). They offered tap water (other places DON'T). I will come back tomorrow for sure in order to have another wonderful dinner!

Update: I've now eaten here another two times. The staff are so lovely and the food remains fabulous. The vegan burger and the tofu noodles are great.
